We return to Venia in just a few weeks and are looking forward to seeing Nikos and Irene! Venia is such a lovely place to stay and they are the most wonderful of hosts - kind, helpful and great fun. The apartment is in the ideal location with fantastic views and easy access to the beaches [no climbing up hills for us!] Everything that you could possibly need for a proper holiday. Roll on June!

My husband and I are returning to the venia apts in 4 weeks time and counting the days. Our hosts Irene &Nikos are such a lovely welcoming couple, bringing you home made wine, and grapes from the vines around the apts.It feels like home from home. The beach is a few minutes walk with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Lassi is a lovely family resort with wonderful greek people.

Returning to Venia in less than four weeks and counting the hours! Nikos and Irene are wonderful hosts and very kind. We couldn't ask for a better welcome or a better place to stay. The views are beautiful, the beaches are fabulous . . . and, looking out at the rain here today, I can hardly wait to be there!

Just spent a wonderful 2 weeks with Nikos & Irene our hosts at Venia studios - our 5th visit in 6 years. It's a wonderful,peaceful and beautiful part of the island, and we will certainly be returning again. The acommodation is clean, excellently situated and with such wonderful hosts. Nikos's grapes are sweet and just the thing to eat on the beach - he gives bunches to all guests at thei time of the year!

For excellent food and wonderful evening views you should visit Tony at Ozzy's cafe/bar, which is opposite the Dolphin supermarket on the road towards Argostolli.

THIS IS OUR 5TH TIME BACK ON THE ISLAND WE CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!!

WE WENT OUT ON THE 14TH JULY FOR 2 WEEKS. THE VENIA APARTMENT WAS OUR 1ST TIME. THE APARTMENTS WERE VERY NICE AND CLEAN. WITH REGULAR CLEAN TOWELS AND FRESH BEDDING.

WE STAYED IN ROOM 7 WHICH HAD A LOVELY VIEW OF THE SEA. AND A NICE AREA TO EAT YOUR BREAKFAST. THE ROOM CEILING FAN CAME IN VERY HANDY NO NEED FOR THE AIR-CON REALLY!! ALSO IN THE ROOM YOU HAVE A 2 NOB RING WHICH IS CAPABLE OF DOING A FULL ENGLISH, A TOASTER,KETTLE AND EVEN A COFFEE MAKER. WE ALSO GOT ANOTHER ROOM FOR SOME FAMILY THAT WAS MENT TO COME OVER FROM ZANTI BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN DUE TO HIGH WINDS ON THE SEA.

IRINI AND NIKOS THE OWNERS ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE. IRINI SPEAKING VERY GOOD ENGLISH ALWAYS ASKING IF THE 3 OF US WERE OK. THEY EVEN GAVE US A BOTTLE OF HOME MADE WINE.

A 5 MIN WALK WILL TAKE YOU ONTO LASSI MAIN ROAD WHERE ALL THE BARS AND TAVERNS ARE. BUTLERS HOUSE IS DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND LOVELY FOOD YOU HAVE TO TRY THE VILE!!! ALSO THERE IS A BAR WITH A PARK (CAN NOT THINK OF NAME) WHICH IS GOOD FOR THE KIDS, NIKKI AND PANOS RUN THAT AND THEY ARE A LOVELY COUPLE, NIKKI IS ENGLISH. WE CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN NEXT YEAR!!!

June 2009. We have just returned from a holiday at the Venia Apartments in Lassi. We are regular visitors to Kefalonia and the Venia rates amongst one of the best we have stayed in. We had room7 which had a nice patio surrounded by flowers and with a pleasant sea view. The room was clean with nice bedding, a ceiling fan which did the job, a toaster, coffee maker and kettle. A wall safe is available for a small fee. Air conditioning is also available if required.

The apartments are a hidden gem set on a quiet road near to the Mediterrane Hotel and 2 minutes walk from the beach and a short easy hill climb to the main Lassi Road (5 mins).

The friendly and helpful owners gave us a tour of all the rooms as we were the only guests and all the rooms were clean, pretty bedding and nice sea views. We had a really lovely peaceful holiday and would recommend the Venia as basic good standard clean accommodation set in amongst lovely colouful flowers in an ideal location. The Mediterrane is close by for coffee or late night drink.

The Venia is well worth a visit. It is advertised with Monach Holidays, we booked via flight and accommodation website Monster Travel.

We had 2 weeks at the venia appts at the end of june going into July.We had the last but one appt at the end of the path on the ground floor. Our favorite bar was the Trentis, good prices and great staff including an Essex Girl who is hitched to the owner, and we ate in the bar owners restaurant 2 doors back down the street good food and good value. A good holiday lots to go and see and nice beaches.

If you came out of the appts and either turned right or left it brought you to a restaurant or bar and plenty of supermarkets. The beach in the pic is reached if you come out of venia turn right go down the slope through the door and follow the path under the pergola.

Sadly the airport is a shambles and desperately needs sorting out, we nearly missed our plane home because they are not able to handle the traffic, will not go back till they sort that aspect out.

We have just spent a week in the Venia Apartments after booking a late deal and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accomodation.

The setting is lovely and has some nice grounds, complete with cats, and great views. We were in Room 3 (downstairs) and we had a large patio/seating area and views of the sea off to the right. If you set off for the beaches past the Hotel Meditaranee there is quite an incline which can be quite sapping if you leave it till it is hot, just make sure you have some water with you. On an evening we always went right out of the apartments which takes you on a flatter route and brings you out on the main street opposite the "Phaedra" restaurant. Beach Antonio is about a 10 minute walk away and Makris Yialos beach is about 15 minutes, but both never seem too far. Restaurants and bars are literally a 5 minute walk so you are never too far from anything.

The room was cleaned twice while we were there, with the maids even placing our shoes neatly, and we had fresh towels during the week. The only minor negative we had was that they did not replace the toilet roll but at 1 Euro for two rolls this was no big deal. The room had both Air Conditioning and Fans and the owner, who was a very pleasant lady, even advised us not to pay for Air Con until we had seen if the fans did a good enough job. As it turned out they did so we ended up saving a bit of money!!!

All in all a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

just spent 1 week in Venia Apartments {12/19 June 05} very clean,good location for both tavernas and beaches easy walking distance into Argostoli in both directions.Will return in the future fantastic island.

Arrived in Lassi at the beginning of Aug 03 with my 2 year old son, taking a risk on a last minute deal. Very impressed with Venia and luckily we were given studio no. 8 which was on the ground floor - a must for young children. Ceiling fan, good sized fridge, coffee maker and room cleaned every two days with fresh sheets and towels. Great beach 10 minutes walk away (5 minutes walk without a young child!) Tavernas 5-10 minutes walk. Car needed to reach the other great beaches. Agostoli 35 minute walk or 10 minutes in the car! If we go back would definitely return to the Venia accommodation.

The best appartments we stayed in!
Great ceiling fan and quiet location with a big fridge.
Linen was changed 3 times a week
Five beaches within 10 mins walk.
Best views from number 4 & 5 (except for the power cables)
Theirs even a pay (card) phone outside number 7.

Beautiful apartment,just 8 in total, we felt spoilt by two ceiling fans, regularly cleaned with new linen throughout the two weeks we stayed (even a coffee maker). Just up the road from Hotel Mediterranee, close by tavernas but still quiet. We enjoyed hot water whenever during the day and beautiful balcony with sea views. Definately recommend it.

Magnificent views, very very clean, good location, huge balcony that even had two sides, Room 5 had a comfy bed ( very odd for greece )Good sized fridge, sliding door to kitchen and 3rd bed. excellent, I highly recommend these studios to anyone and with a small 2-3 min walk to lovely sandy beach, we will be going back very soon! Perfect choice!
