Marianthi Apartments

We visited these apartments Sept 2002. They are very central to the bars and restaurants of Lassi, just off the main road on a small hill down to the beach and a major hotel. The nearest beach is only a 5 min walk though there are nicer beaches if you are prepared to walk for 10-15mins. The apartments comprise sleeping/living area with kitchen to the side and separate bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. There are 9 apartments/studios's in total on an open plan terrace, there is a screen between each apartment which does give some privacy if you wish to sit outside. There is no view nor is there a pool. Very central, very basic, cheap - great if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep, shower and sh....ave, but enjoy the delights of Kefalonia!

We stayed at the Marianthi apartments in October 2000. Very good apartments with seperate bedroom and kitchen. Bedroom with ceiling fans and overall slightly better furnished than the average Greek Apartments. Intersky rep was excellent and it was also useful having the proprietor living in the villa in the same grounds as the apartments. Water heating is/was electric rather than solar. No pool but plenty available close by. A short walk down a woodland path leads on to the beach. There are no balconies but the shared patio is nicely divided by plants to give each apartment its own area. We liked it.
