we were there from the 14-28th july, apartments great, location the best, the steep hill may put some off, but dont be, it gives you the privacy you want without being to remote from things. Occasionally there's a bit of traffic noise in the mornings but once the sun is up its forgotten, fantastic views in the evening watching the sun go down slight downside is the pool closes at 7pm, would be better for at least another 30mins of tanning time
The views from these apartments are stunning and they are set just far enough off the main road to be away from any noise. The apartments themselves are basic but typical Greek accomodation. We had a mezzanine apartment for 4 which had a double bed on an upstairs gallery and two single beds in the main apartment(loads of space for three of us!)The cooking facilities are fine and the cupboards are well stocked with crockery etc.The pool area is beautiful and quiet with plenty of beds and space! We would have NO hesitation in going again.
When you first see the apartments from the main Lassi road, it seems quite high up. Trust me, that is a good thing!! You are above all of the sounds and hassles of the main resort area. You get a fantastic view out over the sea towards Lixouri and the sun-set is one that must be seen from the rooms. The rooms are basic, but it is an excellent base to go from. The nearest shop/market is at the bottom of the road (The Dolphin) and the people there are really friendly. The room includes two single beds, wardrobe, table, 2 ring cooker, fridge, various sized cupboards and a balcony area (or terrace for ground floor) with outside chairs and table. The bathroom is also quite literally shower, wc and sink. But believe me, if you spend most of your time out and about, the Sissy Apts will do you well. The staff (family run) are all friendly and seem to not be around much, they are around, but out of the way!! We went with JMC in May 02 and will happily be looking to go back to the apartments again.
