Ventura Rooms

Just returned home from Kefalonia having had another fabulous stay with Fotini and Nick at Ventura Rooms. This is my 7th visit in 3 years and I would not consider staying anywhere else. The views are spectacular, the cleanliness is excellent and the care that is taken to ensure your stay is enjoyable is superb.I have already booked for next year and will return many times in the future.

 we just came back ,met fortini for the 1st time  while staying at olive gardens in 2003.we contacted mr and mrs ventura via e-mail   ventura_rooms@hotmail.com  .picked us up at airport as promised and the holiday was great ,very high standardsregards to cleanliness of rooms etc. small but everything you need ,kettle toaster fridge etc.thanks to all the family for a great time and we will definateley be returning hopefully for many years to come.

We have been back twice now to this wonderful place. Fotini and Nick are the nicest people, and make you feel like family. The apartments are beautifully situated the view can't be beaten and Lassi is central to sightseeing for the island, with wonderful beaches and restuarants close to.

Nick and Fotini Ventura are the kindest people in Kefalonia.Stayed with them for 6 weeks, April 21st -June 4th. Nothing is to much trouble.Very quiet, wonderful views ,we feel like family.Going back for seven weeks next year.

I've been home for a week and want to go back. Mr and Mrs Ventura are lovely people - very helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The view from our terrace, over Lassi and Lixouri, is just fabulous. The Olive Gardens pool is two minutes away and.....yes..... the walk up to the rooms is very steep. however, after the fifth time you can feel yourmuscles getting toned!!I'll be back!!

Ventura Rooms is a very lovely place to stay. There is a bit of a trek up a steep windy hill but the view is breathtaking. The Owners (Mr & Mrs Ventura) are simply the best. They treat you like family & clean your rooms every day. (Spotless) There are a choice of two swimming pools nearby (the one at the Olive Garden appartments is lovely).

Spent 2 weeks in July in Ventura Rooms. At first it was a bit of a shock at how basic it is, but thats probably because I was spoilt from my last holiday in June staying in a villa in Majorca. The rooms are small with 2 beds there's a small kitchen area and a bathroom, shower unit only with loo and sink of course. The view from the balcony is quite breath-taking looking over Lassi, Lixouri and Xi beach. The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, they are also very helpful on places to go. They speak very good English. One point I must make is that Ventura Rooms is up a steep hill and to walk up the hill in the heat is very exhausting, its not for those who are unfit or have difficulty walking. I hired a car for the 2 weeks, quite cheap from CBR which is found literally down the hill on the left. All in all I had a wonderful 2 weeks there, I'm planning on going back next year.
