Eleana Apartments

Just back from the Eleanna apartments, they are lovely and much larger than any other apartments/studios I have ever stayed in in Greece. There is lots of storage space and the rooms are so spacious with a double bed and a single bed in the room. The bathroom is very modern with a bath! as well as a power shower. Balconies have ample room. Not far away from the town centre with the beach slightly further away. The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds in nice surroundings. The pool bar is a little pricey but nothing to worry about. I would definitely recommend the Eleanna to everybody.

Just spent a week in Skala at the Eleanna, fantastic apartments. Spent most of the days around the pool, very friendly staff and residents, great poolside bar, whipping up amazing cocktails at happy hour 6-7pm. Wouls recommend these apartments to anyone. maid service daily - rooms always tip top condition and very clean. excellent kitchen facilities with plenty of utensils. If you need food Skala towncentre is less than 3 minutes walk and has a range of supermarkets. There is even an internet cafe. So many restaurants to choose from in the evening and everyone serves excellent food.  

We have just came back 2 weeks ago and we all loved it, we sayed for 2 weeks and the place was lovely everything was clean and tidy and the rooms were always cleaned the staff were all lovely and helpful, not far from the main street where there are cocktail bars (loved veto's) and restaurants (best is flamingo) and loads of superamrkets and so on (go to solomos the bloke there is gorgeous!) its a really nice place the beach is a bit pebbly most of them are in kefalonia but the waters lovely and clean and there never packed beacches, had such a good time didnt want to leave cant wait to go back liked it so much i am moving out there to live soon! gauranteed you'll enjoy every minute of your stay! Owned by Nikos who is a bit of a character - doesn't speak much English but does his best to entertain his customers. Assisted in the pool bar by Sharon - a lovely helpful lady - a mine of information. Standard of accommodation is excellent - cleaned every day. Air con is extra but worth it. Pool layout / setup is very good. Food and drink available throughout the day - bar closes at 8pm most evenings but the bar over the road at the sister appts to Eleanna is open. The walk to town is 6/7 minutes and to the beach 9/10. Overall, I'd strongly recommend the place - Airtours for next season by all accounts. I give it 9 out of 10.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Eleanna apts, the brochure had not done it justice at all, this is because the pool and bar area are a recent addition.

We had a fabulous fortnight staying at the Eleanna. The apartments are a 5 - 10 minute walk to the spectacular beach at Skala and the main road where the majority of bars and resturants are. The apartments are cleaned thoroughly every day and the pool and bar are excellent too! I really can't praise the staff and apartments enough, everything was wonderful from start to finish...

On the way to the beach you will pass a taverna called Socrates, this place is well worth discovering at the beginning of your holiday as the food, wine, service is excellent, it is also very reasonable. Definitely one of skala's hidden treasures!!!

Have just returned from fabulous fortnight at Eleanna apartments. I found the accomodation excellent, very well maintained and a pleasant walk (10 minutes slow amble) into main strip of Skala and to the beach. The beach is beautiful, I would recommend you spend some time there. We also found the most amazing restaurant called 'Socrates taverna', you will come across it on the way to beach from Eleanna. All fruit and vegetables organically produced and even have their own wine, which i can highly recommend :-)

Does anyone have pictures of the apartments? I would love to see before booking!

I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM THE ELEANNA APARTMENTS AND THEY WERE IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION ALTHOUGH PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN WALKING INTO SKALA AS THERE IS NO PATH!! THE APARTMENTS THEMSELVES WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE POOL WAS EXCELLENT WITH A SMALL POOL BAR. WE HAD AN EXCELLENT HOLIDAY AND WOULD DEFINATLEY RETURN TO THE ELEANNA APARTMENTS.

Our honeymoon was just as we expected it would be - fabulous. The apartments were just as they were last year. We can't wait until next year, were coming out again within the next week - unfortunately to different apartments. Just hope they are as good as Eleanna.

Myself, my husband and my 3 year old little girl have just returned from a fortnight in Skala, staying at Eleanna Apartments. The pool was brilliant, with a children's pool at one end and two sets of nice steps into the big pool for easy access. 10 mins walk to the centre of Skala and 20 mins from the beach. Apartments had air conditioning at £6 a day (8 euros) payable locally. Our apartment was a studio for 3 (one double and one single bed)and was very spacious with lots of fitted wardrobes and cupboards all along one side of the room. Basic but functional kitchen area. Excellent modern bathroom for Greece - bath with shower overhead, even a hairdryer! Very quiet at the apartments but when by the pool there was a little noise from the road nearby. Would go back again.

Clean apartments and friendly owners. The beach is only a 5 min walk away past most of the resort's shops and Tavernas. Went in May 2002 and going back in May 2003 on our honeymoon.

The location was fine. The pool looked good although we never used it. The bar was slightly over-priced. Huge apartments but very basic cooking facilities.

I was veryt pleased with my apartment - it had everything I needed and the location was fine. I had a small problem with my plumbing [not my plumbing - that all worked just fine - I mean the plumbing in the apartment!], but that was fixed very promptly with no hassle. I'd certainly consider going back there.

My wife Chris and I stayed for a week in May and although the pool wasn't completed the apartment was new, spacious and very clean. We understand that the pool is now completed and in use. Its about a ten minute walk to the resort centre and about the same to the beach. There are no sea views but there are some good mountain views. The road is busy so be careful especially families with younger children as there are no footpaths until you get into the resort. We are planning to return to Eleanna for 2 weeks next May. Highly recommended

My Husband and I have recently come back from our holiday in Skala this is the first time we have been to Kefalonia. Having only booked 2 weeks before we went, we were given the Eleanna apartments which we were told there was no pool and had use of the Marrietta pool across the road, although when we arrived we had a lovely surprise, a new pool and bar had just opened. These apartments are beautifully furnished and very spacious with loads of storage, they were spotlessly clean although there is still some work being done on the complex, landscaping, I would defenitly recommend the Eleanna apts which are about ten mins walk from the resort centre. We had a lovely holiday and will defenilty be going back to Kefalonia....Susan & Martin,... Bolton.
