Me and my wife are coming to Skala for the 6th time on September 9th. We have stopped in different accomodation everytime. We are staying at the Ermioni this year, there are not many comments about these apartments but as long as theres some where to rest my head at the end of the night I'm not bothered. The last comment left doesn't sound to promising but you can't please everyone. Roll on September the 9th
We have just got back from the Ermioni apartments.
I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. We had noisy neighbours which didn't help, but the apartment wasn't brilliant. The doorframe anad skirting board in the bathroom were mouldy, the shower sprayed all over the toilet so you had to wipe the toilet before using it, and the beds were very hard.
The towels we were given were scraggy rags.
Another downside is that there is no safety deposit box, so we ended up locking out things in a suitcase which we were a bit unsure about.
The best thing about the apartment was how close it was to the centre of Skala, but we wouldn't use these apartments again.
Oh... and I forgot to say we were on the top floor of the appartment block so we had excellent views of the sea!
We went to Skala last summer with Thomas Cook and stayed in the Ermioni appts, the location was excellent - just off the main street, 5 mins walk from the beach. It was very quiet, very clean and we had no problems at all. The only thing we would recommend is that you hire a fan for the heat if you are going peak season!!!
Accommodation was clean and comfortable. We travelled with our 8yo grand daughter and she was delighted to have an upstairs bedroom and lounge to herself! Views over the gardens to the sea. Just far enough from the main strip to be relatively quiet, although Skala was quiet anyway! Would definitely return to Skala
