Nefeli Restaurant

Just came back from lassi 24/07/2011 great holiday been five times now as far as we are concerned nefelis is the best restaurant in lassi food is excellent and the staff  are the best. When we arrived this time we went to nefelis that night and they remembered us from last year how nice is that. the stuffed chicken is amazing. Thanks guys for helping to make our holiday great.

Family run restaurant the lady owner comes round all the tables to say hello and make sure all is ok.Great food reasonable prices,good atmosphere.Highly recommended!

Visited twice during stay. First time amazing! second time really awful. ordered mixed starters for 2 at 14 euros. when it came there was 5 different fried cheeses, one chicken nugget and chips. hardly very varied. The sauce to both our mains was very dissapointed and the amount of pork in my dish didnt warrant the name. let down.

 I Visited kefalonia for the first time in October 2007.  Nefeli Restaurant was excelent, food was fantastic, Kate and her staff were very friendly.  Costa, the young one, was (the dish of the day). 
So were the prawns with pasta!!

We went here after reading the previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Try the Stamna, tender beef, potato’s and all sorts of veg slow cooked with Feta, this matched some of the best versions of this dish we have tried over the years. If you just happen to have any room left at all we would recommend the Walnut Cake with Ice Cream. But, best shared as enormous portions. Whole meal including Wine, Coffee and of course Mataxa came to less than 50Euro’s for the pair of us. Brilliant.

We visited on a very busy night and found the service to be prompt but unpersonal.  the food was OK but nothing special.... maybe we just picked a bad night.

Great food yet again at the nefeli. the spaghetti carbonara was every bit as good as i remembered. ate here most lunch times and a few evenings as well. was saddened to find out that kate`s husband gerry passed away the end of last year. will be back in 2 years.  you never know, costas might have settled down by then!!!!

Excellent food and service, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff.  What more could you want.

This was the best restaurant in Lassi, the service was great, staff were friendly and food was amazing!!! Carbonara was the best i have ever had and so was the Greek salad. It was busy in there every time we went, yet the service was still fast, and the food was still hot. Another favourite was the village sausage, but the best was the banana split, you just have to save room for that!!!

Good food, good price, good service.  Can't say more!

Greek food is excellent and they do a good steak too. 

We have been going to Kefalonia now for the last three years and eat in Nefeli every night we find everything about it great Katy is the owner and you couldn't wish to meet a nicer person the food is good especially the rabbit and the spag bol, all the staff are very friendly especially Kostas the gorgeous greek waiter who me and my family have become very good friends with what a great guy.

Lovely Staff, the food was very good. One of the best restaurant we have eating in Kefalonia.

Can't understand the low rating.Been here many times,service always prompt,staff always friendly and food always yummy had lamb the first time and had whatever lamb dish is on offer ever since-it just melts in the mouth.Prices average compared to many others in Lassi but few can equal here for quality.Even if you have younger children and they don't like whats on the menu just ask for what they fancy and in most cases the staff will get it

We ate here lunchtimes on many occassions.  The food and wine/beer was excellant.  Brilliant atmosphere, very laid back and friendly staff.

Really nice and place, can get really busy on the live music nights. We ate here a few times and really enjoyed it. Grandma's meatballs are excellent!

We loved this restaurant, the food was excellent, especially the traditional Greek dishes (no garlic bread for us!). Try to go on a Monday or a Friday when they have live music, it created a really good atmosphere, the staff are also very friendly.

Sorry to those that liked this place but our food was very disappointing.  The garlic gread was overloaded with salty garlic butter and the spaghetti bolognaise was very salty too. The service was OK and the owner was a very chirpy lady who made you feel welcome.  Sorry to say though we didn't go back.

Only 2 weeks and we'll be back in Kefalonia,can't wait! This will be our 5th visit in 4 years.

Our third year in lassi,instantly recognised and welcomed at nefelis by Katie,Amelios and the rest of the staff. Food and service back to its best.Best breakfasts anywhere in greece at anytime of day.Chicken souvlaki,swordfish,spag bol,almond pie and creme caramel all superb
