Restaurants in Lassi

Visited Retseto Restaurant many times - genuine welcome from staff and owners, excellent food, good value and great service. Ideally situated on the Lassi main road with lovely views of the sunset. Give Retseto a try it has become a favourite for us. K and R

The old Panorama closed down after the death of Andreas about 8/9 years ago, and was used for various other purposes for a couple of seasons. It has been a fabulous taverana caled 'Retseto' for about 3 summers now and has a very comprehensive menu. Some of the staff faces may look familiar to people who have eaten at the Ionio, as it owned by the same people. The setting is beautiful as are the sea views and food is of a very high quality.

This restuarant has changed hands. Nikos, the previous  owner now runs the Aqua Marine bar/restuarant just up the hill from the Meditaranne Hotel.

This was the worst meal we had by far and will never go back. Very poor quality and expensive. Came away still feeling hungry.

Not recommended.

We went to the Panorama twice and had a fantastic meal, do agree try the mixed grill it was fab! Nickos the owner is really kind and you can have a laugh with all the great staff there. Can't wait to go back next year!

great view overlooking the bay, staff laid back, but what's the rush you are on holiday. food delicious, i had greek salad and kalamari and my husband had lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection, accompanied by ice cold beer. strawberry crepe also very tasty.

Yes the views were ok but the it is spolit by the concrete hotel infront of it. The waiters/waitress were very friendly and service was good BUT the food was very mediocre at best. Perhaps it was because everyone around us was eating burgers/pizza and chips and the cook had forgotten how to cook a proper greek meal. Or maybe it was because we had fantastic meals everywhere else that this place just didnt live up to standards elsewhere. The moussaka was too eggy and no potato in it. It was edible - just about but I swear I've tasted Asda ready meals that are better that this! If you're looking for some quick grub, its the place to go but don't expect much.

We ate here at lunchtime just once, we had salad, tiropitakia, saganaki and seabass, all of which were delicious. The service was fairly prompt and extremely friendly, which was quite a mean feat to achieve considering there was just one cook and one waiter! The waiter was extremely friendly, helping and encouraging me with my attempts at Greek and although we only ate here once he remembered me stopped me to chat in Greek everytime I walked past.

When we went it was quite late and not very busy, but a greek family arrived just after us so we were encouraged by that. I had lamb kleftico which was nice, my son had lamb with a tomato sauce which was nicer, my husband had lamb chops and my oldest daughter had a pasta bake which was good. My youngest daughter had fish fingers which were dire - definately not Birds Eye - more like fishcakes. The crepes we had for sweet were good and the price was excellent - about 45€ including drinks (we all had at least 2). Worth a visit.

we had lunch here twice-the food was good but considering the numbers in there the food was slow in coming only 1 waiter and 1 cook at lunch-the waiter was friendly half greek/half italian guy.

We ate at Panorama and the food was great. The service was quick and the waiters were lush (George and Petro we love you!) We had a fantastic time in Kefalonia and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. George and Petro we hope to see you soon, thanks for a fantastic holiday! Love from Emily and Kerry xx

We visited this restaurant twice and had good meals both times. The cost was significantly lower than a similar meal at Zorbas and the food was much better and HOT!! Kleftiko was very good and the staff were very friendly and prompt by other restaurants standards. Sunset is lovely too. We would recommend trying this restaurant and no cats begging for food!!!

It had a beautiful view. The food was great. the price wasn't bad at all. You defantly got your money's worth. you can see the blood red sun set from there.

very good service, (on one occasion a fork was missing and the waitress brought us some more bread as compensation), food was equally as good. Like most greek resturants the prices are supprisingly low. Lovely sea views. Toilet facilities are unusually plentifull for a greek resturant of its size, and very clean.

just dont do it! ok the view is panoramic but photos will be spoilt by the 1970 's prefab high rise hotel mediteranie in the fore ground. survice was terrible. waiter forgot to bring out our starters but they were still on the bill! my chocolate crape dessert had tin foil in it! when i complained the waiter prodded around with his fingers fished out the fiol then disapered. no appology was given or replacement offered plus it was still on the bill. had to argue with him to take the non existant starters off and he refused to take the dessert off even though i had been unable to eat it. you may be temped in by the low prices but you risk food poisening and extorion for bing a tight a**e.

Big open plan retaurant on sea - side of lassi main drag. Service warm and friendly and views were stunning - if a little spoilt by that orrible vinyl they use to keep the wind out!! Sea food - or fishermans platter - huge and varied - kleftiko and stifado basic with no extras. Another place were they absolutely love kids! Basic but a nice time to be had....
