During my recent stay in Lassi, I visited this venue.

This restaurant used to be a very good restaurant before the new owner took over. unfortunatly it has really gone down hill! The service is very poor to say the least, I do nagree with the notes put on this web site as I was given my bill before I had had my main course!

Went to Lassie in july 2008 this year and had a great time, thought we would call in in at Da Veronicas because the last time we were in their in 2007 we met a great girl called Lynda she made the place buzz with her outgoing and fun loving personality, but sad to say no Lynda this year the place was dead and the drinks very expensive, the music was poor and  there was no atmosphere at all so we never returned. COME BACK LYNDA WEREVER YOU ARE

My husband and I have just returned back from Kefalonia, We visited this bar most nights last year. The atmosphere was great then! Sorry to say but this year is very dissapionting!no atmosphere at all! Drinks were very expencive and the bar was very quiet.

I had read loads of great reviews on this site about Da Veronica's so we went on our first night and were really disappointed! The food was good but it took us about 40 minutes to get our starter and then another 40 minutes to get our main meal...and no apology whatsoever!

They said they were having an off day but it seemed like a bit of conciliatory patter to me, especially after we watched on the next evening from the next restaurant over, as people at Da Veronica were waiting interminably long for their meal again.  I'm used to mediterranean times but 45 minutes for calamari and vegetable souvlaki is appalling in comparison to all of the other restaurants we went to in Lassi and the food was very, very average.  Add to that a manager who screamed at his staff like Mussolini and suffice to say, we won't be back.

ee we had a fab time here!!! loved the cocktails! especailly sophie cocktails!, music and the people were lovely recommend it to anyone! loved the themed nights! Quiz is very hard though ha ha! Probably spent 8/14 nights there!

These people made my holiday very memorable!

We ate here 3 times during our stay it was great everytime!! Stifado, and meat balls really amazing. Very good value for money!

went here in may 2008 near enough every night had a fantastic time with my fiance out there bar oweners were lovely and linda the best hostess in the world with her sidekick agatha ha. definately worth going to made our holiday even better than i thought. u will have a guranteed fantastic night. hope ur reading this linda thanks for a brill time stew the dj ha.

Had a great time after a long day out in the sun, we went here most nights of our two week stay last August, we found it to be the perfect place to relax and have a good time and a good laugh . Lynda the girl doing all the entertainment was brilliant she is a Yorkshire girl with a great sense of humour and is always game for a laugh and she keeps the party going.

About the best eating place in the resort. Not much authentic food about in all the eateries here, but in Da Veronica ask Yiannis ( who has a passing resemblance to Mr Spock ) and he'll recommend something of what you'd expect to eat in Greece. Beef stifado was really good. Local wine good too, especially the red. Service is fine too, sit down ,relax, chat with Yiannis and Christos, enjoy the meal and take your time, your on holiday, theres no hurry.

Food was excellent, we visited four times the two weeks we were there and were never disappointed. Service was very good and we did not feel rushed even when it was very busy. Also recommend the cocktails in the bar after dinner, with non alcoholic choices for the kids.

Friendly efficient service and good menu choices. Enjoyed eating here on past holidays and we visited again this holiday.

da veronica's var and resturant was brilliant, it was the best bar and resturant in kefallonia and the best food and all the people was really cool. hopefully we will be going there next year.

Fantastic place to eat, waiters all really friendlyl, really difficult to find somewhere where we all were happy but even the three kids said this was the best restaurant they had been to in the holiday, we went back several times, and can not complain about a single thing. Would definitely make this a regular haunt if we go back to Lassi again.

Best restaurant in Lassi. We ate here loads during our two week stay. We tried all sorts from the large menu and were never disappointed. The waiters are so friendly and even brought out a surprise ice cream for my partners birthday - on the house. Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant service, try it out!

thought the food here was good, but the service wasnt great, we had to wait ages to get the bill, they just didnt seem bothered if we were there or not, definately cant fault the food though, it was lovely.

It was so disgusting, I ordered chicken and I swear it was the worst chicken I have ever consumed. Partner ordered steak and couldn't even eat it, it was that black.

We have been to kefalonia the past 2 years and have been to Da Veronica's nearly every night and found that everything from the service to the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the lamb kleftico and meatballs . My wife loved the vegetable mousaka,stuffed vine leaves,giant beans and baclava . The waiters were very friendly and recognised us straight away from the year before. Would recommend to everybody.Going back to Kefalonia in august and looking foward to eating there again.

We ate here only once but enjoyed it. We had saganaki and salad to start and mixed gyros meat for mains, all of which were delicious. I can't understand where the comments about slow service have come from as when we ate the service was prompt even though the restaurant was busy. However we did eat quite late, at around ten, so maybe that is why the service was faster! The wine was lovely, especially as we asked for a small carafe of house wine and received a rather large jug!!!  The waiters were extremely polite and pleasant and even patiently and, dare I say, enthusuatically entertained my Greek, speaking some Greek with me, whilst in other places many only want to speak English!!!! My only disappointment was that they had no Galaktobourro left for dessert. The bill came to almost forty euros, which was reasonable considering we both had 3 courses and the gyros came with enough meat to feed at least two people!

Had a meal here early on in the first week of our holiday. Food not bad but service very slow, however, we were on holiday in beautiful Kefalonia so what was the rush? People were friendly and it was busy so obviously popular
