Good location. Studios/apartments clean and regularly attended to (clean linen, beds made etc.). Just off the mainroad so there is some traffic noise and also noise from local tavernas and bars. Rooms are fairly small but are a good base for exploring the island. Ground floor rooms have a terrace and small garden area.

Nice and roomy especially for families. Food average (small portions!) but not unpleasant.

Good standard of food, particularly the chicken in lemon sauce. Cheapest place we ate in. Very roomy. Waiting staff very attentive even when they were dancing. Enterainment mixed but even the worst singers provided some laughs. Worthy of several visits during our stay and convenient for anyone staying at the Makris Gialis end of Lassi.

The food is very good at Nefeli but I would agree with other comments that the service is efficient but lacks the friendliness of the other restaurants in Lassi. Can get very cramped and rather uncomfortable as the tables are very close together.

Really good food, if you're hungry I would recommend the mixed grill (a vegetarian's nightmare). Steaks and the cephalonian meat pie are very good too. Staff are friendly and attentive and are particularly good with children.

Mixed opinions about the food from the party I travelled with. Fish dishes disappointing and overcooked. Entertainment was lively, don't sit near the front unless you want to be dragged up to join in.

Visited this restaurant 10 years ago and was always happy with the service and quality of food. There have been a few changes but the food is still good. Invited to view the dishes that had just been cooked before choosing from the menu which does help as you can judge the portion sizes etc. In a great setting on the port road in Lixouri, you can sit back and watch the world go by.

Ate here several times on a previous visit to Kefalonia in 2001. The restaurant is just as I remember it; you always get a friendly, attentive service and the quality of the food is excellent. The house wine is very good and the cheapest I have seen on the island. Portside is frequented by many locals, which is an excellent recommendation. On return visits you will welcomed as an old friend.

Fantastic weather. Stayed in Kefalonia during the last week in September and first week in October. One word of warning; the wasps and mosquitos are very active at this time of year so be prepared!
