Only 2 weeks and we'll be back in Kefalonia,can't wait! This will be our 5th visit in 4 years.

Just back from 2 weeks staying at Nikos in Lassi. The apartments were great and am definatley booking up for next year.It is a climb up the hill but well worth the effort. The pool area was spotless and so peacefull. The Olive Gardens over the road has a bar and restaurant which is really handy and means you don't always have to go into Lassi, there is a supermarket at Liberatos (about 1/3 down the hill) but it is a bit more expensive.Nefali is the best restaurant in Lassi, say hello to Kate + Kostas.

We have been going to Kefalonia for 5 years but took the ferry over to Ithaca for the first time this year.It was great and i would recommend it to everyone.You should definatly take a car over on the ferry,it goes about 8.30 every morning from Sami and comes back at about 3.30 and another at about 4.30.We had to get the tickets from a guy selling them at the port from the boot of his car 'his office'.
