We don't normally eat chinese when on holiday, but this restaurant was recommended to us by other people in our hotel. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, and well presented. The house wine (rose) was also very nice.  We would definately recommend this restaurant.

NOW CALLED CHOP STICKS,FOOD WAS VERY TASTY AND THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY PORTIONS WERE A LITTLE ON THE SMALL SIDE BUT THE APPLE PIE IS THE BEST EVER,PRICES ARE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT IT WAS WORTH EVERY EURO !!!!

The Chinese House is a welcome break from the usual menus from the Tavernas.  Can especially recommend the Combination starter for two which was scrummy.  We had a couple of meals here and both were delicious.  Disagree with previous comment about not being enough to eat.  The house wine is organic which is lovely, but they give you a taste first, so if you don't like it, tell them and choose something else!

Oh this place is great if you fancy something different to greek food and if you dont fancy sitting in and eating you can takeaway which is fab. I had a beef curry and another night had a special chow mein and it was lovely. Its definatly worth a visit while your in scala .

The worst place we ate in Skala the wine was lousy the food ok but very small portions walked away still feeling hungry.  But worst of all the owner stood and watched us eat every mouthful then as soon as we had finished thrust a comments book into my hand and stood there while I filled it in. Well I did not dare put a bad comment so I wrote - JUST LIKE HOME!!!
I asked if there was Chardonney on the menu he said no but said he had something similar oh my god the stuff he bought was I am sure home made plonk that was so strong I couldnt drink it he noticed this and came over and bought somthing just as bad.  Just had to drink it and go too scared not too!!!
Never go there again stick to the Pines!!!

All in all food not bad, lots of choice, quality of meat not the best.  Service very good.  Restaurant itself very hot - no fans or air con.  If you feel the need for chinese then go for it but wouldnt recommend it as a great quality restaurant.  Starters probably better than main courses.  wine very cheap (again not the best) no "free" water.
