Portside Restaurant

We had so many nice meals in Lassi so came to Argostoli one night and ate here.

We loved this restaurant and came here every night that we had the car. Execellent Greek food and great service. Rosa and her family were very welcoming.

Excellant. Rosa makes you feel very welcome - nothing was too much bother. We had a varied selection of the food on offer as we went many times. Kevin thought the pork was the best he had ever tasted! Not forgetting the ice cold Mythos!!!! No other restaurant was so laid back. If we manage to get back to Kefalonia in 2004 this will be the first restaurant we head for.

Very nice food in a very nice setting as the name suggests. Stifado is very good although you might want a starter as the protions aren't that big

A big Thank you to Rosa who rescued me with the best fresh
whole grilled Octopus in town after I had been to a nearby
restaurant and had an argument with a greasy woman chef and
had to send my meal back ! (it was microwaved and burnt). Rosa
even added extras for free as I was so shaken by the experience!
We had already eaten here once before and remembered the
friendly welcome and excellent food also the locals eat here
which is always a good sign! Portside is on the waterfront road
opposite the Ports Authority building.

We went to the Portside restaurant on a number of occasions, the food was excellent, the owner was impressed by our Greek and helped my husband who asked her to 'Come with me' when he meant 'All together' for our food! Alot of Greeks ate here which made it even more enjoyable. You must try it!

Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Argostoli if not Kephalonia!! Rosa is a gem who will offer to teach you Greek - at least enough to impress the locals! The food is great and very inexpensive and the portions are generous. You are missing out if you go to the Captain's Table and not Portside!!

best restaurant in town, excellent harbour front location, excellent staff and atmosphere. had many meals here during our holiday in July the best being the fresh lobster at a very reasonable price. Do visit you will not be sorry!!!!

A very nice restaurant in a good position on the seafront as the name suggests - touted by a very welcoming Greek/American lady who provides relaxed and helpful advice with the menu in the American style, but stopping short of telling you to 'Have a Nice Day' when you leave! Food well up to scratch and not at all expensive - go there!
