STATERI.
I have been here regulary since it opened.
It often has many empty tables - don't let this put you off. I've always had
excellent food and good service. Slightly 'up-market' food beautifully
presented.
Waitress (well the one who's always been there for the last few years) doesn't
speak very good English or very good Greek but will get your order in the end.
Slightly off the beaten track, but worth making the effort to go here.
Our favourite meal(s) of our two week honeymoon in Kefalonia were had here. The walnut cake is amazing!!!! It's a shame that it isn't more busy - however, do not let this put you off eating there as you will not be disappointed!!!! Once the word spreads I am sure it will be very busy.
This was the best restuarant we found on Kefalonia. We wish we had found it earlier, a fantastic selection of wines, (a great house red), Cheap beer (1.5 euro). A complimentary dip to start with, and a fantastic, unusual menu. It is opposite the Kefalonia nautical club right on the front near the ferry port. The service was also great! and the prices very good compared to some of the places we had, had bad food thrown at us. (the Cosi Cafe & AgQua bar in Sami).
