The appartment is situated up a 250m or so hill from the main road, so make sure you're fit!!! We found it rather basic with only a single ring & a half to cook on. We chose the appartment expecting great sea views but picked the short straw of room 4 which had no balcony. Be warned only 2 of the rooms have good views! On the plus side it was very quiet.
So simple is the liveliest & busiest bar in lassi. The staff are friendly and we had up to 4 free shots each within a 2 hour period. The music provided is that of a "wedding disco" but went down well with most. Later on the "bar" turns into a "club" which basically meant one of the glass doors is closed.
Newly opened in july 2002 we found the staff friendly with nice starters. 20% discount was given for the bar next door and 5% discount for the jewellery shop below.
We found El Gabbiano cheap and friendly and the food was ok. They even threw in a couple of free brandys
Phaedra was one of the best places to eat in Lassi, overall we found that as vegetarians Lassi was quite limited and welcomed the vegetable Moussaka provided at Phaedras. None of the restaurants were expensive in Lassi yet this was probably the best for overall quality & atmosphere
visited lassi in July 2002. First week was very hot 38 degrees+ was burned within an hour on the beach wearing factor 25!!! so please be warned.
Lassi is a quiet resort which is definately aimed towards couples and people who want a relaxing holiday. The beaches and water are lovely and is the main attraction to Lassi. The dozen or so restaurants are all much the same but as vegetarians we would recommend Gondola & Phaedra. Make sure your first stop is one of the supermarkets to buy a parasol!!
