Restaurants in Lourdas

This restaurant is now the Olive Lounge.  The pizza's are brilliant but Doodles Fillet steak was sadly missed.

This restaurant is now called "Doodles". We ate there 3 times during our 2 week stay and on each occassion the food was 1st Class. The steak was huge and came with chips or oven potatoes or a greek salad. The Kleftico was superb, as was the Red Snapper from the specials board.

The service was efficient and friendly too.

Hello can i just point out that when i visited the resteraunt this year it has actually changed its name to 'Doodles'.GReat Food!!!!!!! THanksx

Jodie P  (25 October 2005)

Bit disappointing, everything came with chips and very small portions.  Beautiful view from the etrrace though .  Local wine was a bit poor, overall not the best place we tried, typical of an Anglified Greek restaurant.

Just returned from Lourdas Sunday and we ate at the Tricolore restaurant twice and enjoyed our meals both times. service was very good and the sweets beautiful.  Well done

Laura H  (05 July 2004)

food was lovely especially the greek dishes.Stunning scenery and very nice staff.

Tanya   (30 June 2004)

A good choice of menu and excellant pizza. The service is very good. The only down point is that as it is out in the open, there are no
sunshades.

Catwoman   (11 October 2003)

Attentive, all male staff who seemed to give slightly better service if you are female! Lovely food served on the lovely, slighly windy, but still lovely terrace, over three different evenings had pizza, pasta, salads and fish all were really good, house wine was more drinkable than some other restaurants but still fairly crap, next time will pay more and stop being a cheapskate!!! I too saw Danny!! Slightly expensive is only real whinge here.
Spiros next door is excellent but cant find section for it, really busy all the time but welcoming and they always seem to remember you.

Bit surprised by the negative comments on here. We tried to go on our first night but got turned away as the place was full. All those people can't be wrong so we went back the next evening. The view is stunning and I really belive the food is value for money. The prawn scambi was the best meal we had all week.
Only regret was that we went to the Greek Island up the road on the last night. Friendly welcome and a free drink...but the food wasn't s good as here :(

Dave F  (27 August 2003)

Ate at Tricolore during the first week of my stay. Food was great, especially the starters, which alre always my favourite part of the meal. staff was very attentive and didn't mind the children running around. Can recommend this restaurent to all vistors.

Roula Z  (17 July 2003)

The best place to eat with fantastic views over the sea to Zante.
The food is excellent. Pizza is very good.

Sotiris K  (17 July 2003)

pizza is very very good

Joe   (13 July 2003)

excellent we ate here most nights of are holiday everything was perfect!!!!!!!!!!

Jenny K  (25 June 2003)

Very excellent food. We tried a few places, but kept coming back to this one. Friendly and quick service . The terrace is lovely and breezy - but don't sit too close to the lamps after dark or you get dive-bombed by moths. Lamb in a clay pot the highlight and the Baklava with vanilla ice cream! Yum

Harry S  (03 June 2003)

A really good restaurant though not in the greatest of positions the views are good. on the 3 occasions we ate there the food was superb the service friendly and helpfull, Saganaki shrimps were excellent as was the kleftico. worth a visit we highly recommend it.

Zoe   (29 May 2003)

We ate here and the food was just ok , nothing that special and nothing that made me want to go back there again. My boyfriend ate steak and I chose chicken. The waiter was friendly though and took his time to talk to us and made us feel welcome.

Pelagia A  (07 April 2003)

Me and my family liked this restaurant, out of the two weeks we stayed in Lourdata for we went there about 3 times. We liked it because the service was Excellent and the waiter was friendly. The view was unique, we especially like to see the sun setting and the ferry coming over from Zanta. I was very suprised to read some of the comments.

R W  (31 October 2002)

This was not the best place to eat. The specials on the board are like childrens portions of main meals although the price isn't reduced by the same amount. Might fill Danny but not me.

Colin C  (07 October 2002)

Most expensive meal we had, probably to pay Dannys wages!Fried squid was good but Lamb in clay pot and Swordfish only average.Portions on the small side, unlike the cover charge.Danny was the only pleasant member of staff, the others wandered about looking like they didn't want to be there.

Jackie H  (26 September 2002)

Only went once, but the pizzas were excellent.
