The beach was gorgeous. The fine shingle was a comfortable alternative to sand (after a week, brushing sand out of your clothes can be pretty irritating!). Sunbeds were expensive. The beach is lovely earlier on when it is very quiet and there is no-one else around (but that soon changed - get there early to get a sunbed).
Delicious. Simply delicious. The view was gorgeous when the sun was setting. The chopsticks were fab. Go there! And I hear Nicolas Cage went there.
A very nice place - the rooms were spacious and clean. Limited kitchen facilities and a bit of a walk to the beach/supermarket (wouldn't recommend going back for lunch), but a pretty place right next door to the friendly taverna Oscars (see restaraunts) who will be your best friends by the end of your holiday! There's a go-kart track just opposite which can be noisy (not really good for children). Overall, very nice
Well worth a visit (especially if you want to cool off)!
A bit boring as there wasn't much to do there and the food was very expensive. Worth going to if it's on the way.
Very nice - the water was a gorgeous deep blue and boatmen enteraining (though not knowing much english!). Not as big as I'd expected - perhaps a little disappointing, but the view was spectacular.
The owner, Chris, is a friendly Canadian who go out of his way to help (even fax over your driving licence!). Ask for his friend's restaraunt (Casa grec) - It's the best on the island (and still v cheap).
A very fun day out! The wine was nice and the fact that it was unlimited was a huge bonus! The food was absolutely delicious (but limited choice) - cheese pies, kebabs, and the best salad I've ever had (which you all make together in a huge bucket). Didn't actually see anything through the boat but the snorkelling deep in the ocean (optional) was brilliant! The karaoke is great. Be prepared to have to walk with your posetions from the boat to the shore chest deep in water. Captain Makis is the funniest, most lovely man - make sure you gat a photo!
A great to see the island if you don't have a car. I would really recommend going to get the most out of the island. The coach is comfortable and, thankfully, air conditioned - very nice!
