First restaurant we went to on our first night.Food was average but service was good.We might not go back to it in the future

We must admit that we were a bit disappointed by the recommendations made on this site.Food was ok only but service was good though.We may not go back to it on our next visit to Skala.

One of the local told us that this is not a good restaurant.We found the food was quite nice.However,we waited for an hour for what we have ordered.It seemed that we were forgotten!

This is the very first time we visited Kefalonia and we booked at the last minute.Understandably we were anxious if this is a nice resort suitable for us with  2 teenagers.It was great and we were glad that we stayed in Skala.A biggish village,quite lively with a lot of people.Slightly uphill to apartment.No complaint at all.On the second last day of our stay,there were 2 ATM operating!!A great resort to go to indeed.

We went with Olympic holidays excursion,it was a long day but a lot to see in such a long day.Worth joining them especially if it is your first visit to Skala

Location:pretty good,a very short distance from main road,a couple of minutes away from shops/restaurants.We liked it.quietness:we have not heard any noise at all,very quiet indeed.Cleanliness:sheets got changed twice a week.The apartment is basic but clean.Owner Dennis is very friendly and helpful.Air-con costs extra $50-70 Euros for 2 rooms and safe box $10 Euros.We will go back to it in the future

The whole experience was very good.From the time we arrived at the Kefalonian airport,they started to look after you until you left for home.Pretty efficient tour operator.Staff are friendly and know their stuff about the resort/island.Return flight delayed for an hour though.

I brought a mixture of Euros and Sterling pounds.I changed it ar CBR car hire place and it was ok.I also took money out at ATM(2 were operating now)and my bank HSBC did not change me anything at all.I have informed HSBC before I set off so that they will let me withdraw money out abroad.

When we had an evening in Argostoli we ate there.Food was good with good service.Puddings were excellent too.Sitting by the square was wonderful in the evening.There was a group of 3 musicians singing at your table(of course hoping some money from you).It was a nice restaurant,we enjoyed it.
