Asteris. What can I say?. The best place we have ever stayed in in Greece. Our 8th trip to Skala our first to the Asteris. From the minute we arived the hospatality was second to none. The rooms were massive with views right over Skala, as far as the mainland and Zakynthos. Had a car for 2 weeks from the airport which I think is a must unless you like sitting round the pool all day everyday. Nothing bad in that always a spare sunbed and the pool was never crowded.Dont miss BBQ night but make sure you eat very lightly through the day as the food is piled high on your plate. My 6 year old managed it just.Already booked for next year, cant wait
The best place to eat in Skala. Food and service excellent with a price to match. Dont miss it
Thanks for a great holiday. Booked again for next year at the same place. £700 cheaper than Thomsons
Sallys Bar the one and only place for your pre dinner drinks probably great for a late drink as well but with a 6 year old have to be in a bit early these days. Sally is a brillint host and friend. First saw here as a school girl doing Greek dancing over 13 years ago. I will bring the Photos next year Sal I promise
Get up in the morning hungry. Get yourselves to Poros and the Cactus Bar. Sit virtually on the beach listening to the sea and have the best breakfast ever. Nic and Amanda will look after you as friends. Found Poros again this year after nearly 10 years of just passing through. Great place to eat and drink, pity the tour companys dont think the same. See you next year
Come on you woosies. Wear some plastic shoes. No sand blowing anywhere,Bliss! Take some bread into the water and watch the fish eat out of your hands, what more do you want. If you want soft sand a 5 minute car drive to the next beach, Kaminia and hey prest o walk for 100 yards and water still only at your waist and not a stone in sight. Goes to prove Skala has the best of both worlds
