Stayed at Kekatos Studios in May 2005. They are excellent. Modern, well equiped and clean and just a 5 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach. The view from the top floor is great. Only comments on the resort is that it is even quieter than we thought it would be!! Even in the middle of summer, I cannot imagine Lassi being busy which in itself will be an attraction to a lot of people. Try the "Ionio" taverna down the far end of the resort, excellent food and very friendly staff. The "Eden" bar next door is also very nice. Hire a car and get about. The roads are also very quiet at this time of year and you can do the lot in 3 days. The island is very pretty. Make sure you go to Myrtos beach and the underground lake. Take the ferry from Agostolli to Lixouri, well worth the ride at only 1 euro 60.

 

Without doubt the BEST bar in Lassi and well worth the walk. Beautiful setting, good music, friendly staff. OK, the drinks were a little bit expensive, but well worth it.

 

Tried several restaurants and without doubt Ionia was the BEST. Good menu, reasonable prices, nice staff, lovely setting. Well worth the extra few minutes walk to "the other end of the resort".

Beautiful experience. Can't remember the exact price, but cheap. Make sure you go.

Magical views as you drive down to it. Unfortunately the sea was very rough and it would have been dangerous to go in. We were told by the holiday rep that there are strong undercurrents here. No one should go to Kefalonia without seeing this beach!

Early May must be one of the prettiest times to visit. The island is covered in Spring flowers. By the end of May though, most of them have finished flowering.

No problems with Kosmar, although the transfer from the Airport to the resort was a little slow, mainly due to another client having lost their luggage. In my experience Kosmar's standards are as good as any other tour operator's - and their prices are a lot less!! A definite thumbs up for Kosmar.
