Eleni Studios

We have just spent two brilliant weeks at the Eleni Studios in Kefalonia. We would like to send our sincere thanks to both Kostas and Alex for their hospitality. The studios are up a hill but the view made the walk totally worth it. We celebrated Lynne's birthday whilst we were there and the meal of lobster that Kostas cooked for us was excellent. We would be happy to recomend the studios and we look forward to booking again when the new brochures come out. Kostas we have not forgotten about the football shirt and it will be sent shortly. Pam & Tommy Peacock have just come back from a week in Lourdos, 2-9th August. Alex & Kostas were excellent hosts. You must go to the quiz and BBQ on Wednesday night. I'm sure we will be back again next year. Lovely relaxing holiday, only disadvantage is that Lourdos is quite hilly apart from that great!

we had a fantastic time at the eleni studios with our 11 yr old son .Alex and kostas were the perfect hosts try the bbq it was surperb except for kostas cheating on the quiz the food was fantastic ,and alex makes a lovely breakfast ,thankyou alex and kostas for a wonderful holiday from karen and paul and karl

we spent a fantastic 14 nights at eleni 5th /19th july.the food was first class as were kostas & alex.this was my 6th greek island and it was by far the best.the wonderful people we meet made it very special.the daughter(9) also enjoyed it and again kostas & alex were 1st class with her.we will be back thats for sure.hire a car for the sight seeing(cbr are the cheapest)trips are expensive.drink mythos as its by far the best beer. thanks nigel,ang & alisha x

This is the second time we have visited Kefalonia and stayed at the Eleni apartments. Kostas and Alex are excellent hosts Kostas cooking is to die for. The walk up the hill is the only downside however its worth it just for the view from the apartments. both Kostas and Alex greeted us as though we were long lost friends and we look forward to returning soon along with big Gill . Thanks for a relaxing special week

We visited the Eleni studios 5 - 12 July and had an fabulous time. It had everything we wanted, pool, bar, food and lots of sunshine. Kostas and Alex were wonderful and would do anything for you. Kostas' food is fantastic and his BBQ is out of this world, we only wish we had eaten there more often. We met some lovely people there and had a real laugh. Its the pefect place to chill out and completely wind down and the surroundings are lovely. We have already recommended the Eleni Studios to our family and friends and we will be returning one day. Thanks again Kostas and Alex.

we stayed in June and where located in the Kyria Eleni which is an annexe of the Eleni, we had a wonderful holiday and found Kostas and Alex to be marvelous hosts, nothing was to much trouble for Kostas,I have a bad knee and Kostas was so obliging changing our room and sorting car hire. We will certainly recommend anyone to stay with them. His cooking is 2nd to non(he's a commis chef in Pontefract in the winter!)and his sense of humour is a pure delight-it's wicked!Thank you Kostas Alex and to all your family for a brillant holiday.

We have just returned from our stay at the Eleni and, what can we say, it was the best holiday we have had so far in Greece. Lourdas was just what we wanted, it was peaceful and quiet. The food at the Eleni was superb and the tavernas were beautiful too.

If you want a quiet relaxing holiday then this is the place to go. Kostas and Alex were the best hosts by far and we hope to see them again.

We wanted a relaxing week in the sun and that's exactly what we got. Got back on Saturday from a thoroughly enjoyable week in Kefalonia. We stayed at the Eleni and I will definately be going back again (hopefully this year!). Kostas and Alex are fantastic hosts and both so friendly and welcoming. Kostas' cooking is fantastic - we tried a couple of restaurants aswell but they weren't up to Kostas' high standard. The Island is beautiful as are the beaches, can't wait for my return visit when I can continue exploring. Hi to Ilios the barman.

Arrived home from our holiday on Saturday and had a great time. Eleni Studios is clean, quiet and very friendly. Kostas and Alex are the perfect hosts, and Ilios the barman is also very friendly. Don't miss quiz night..... we never actually won but it was a great laugh! Kostas will probably mention a Flying Fox and you won't have a clue what he is on about!! (It was a joke when we were there) Recommended you hire a car, CBR is probably the best value. And lastly don't miss Kostas' food it is amazing!! We want to try Kefalonia next year (just come back from Zakynthos) and the Eleni Studios sound great. We have got an 8 year old boy, who will be 9 next year and loves swimming and eating out. Are these studios and this resort ok for kids? We would appreciate any comments.

My boyfriend and I spent our second Kefalonian holiday at the Eleni studios and couldn't possibly fault the place. The rooms were perfect, the pool was fantastic, the poolbar was was very pretty, the views were stunning, the food was excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. Very impressive. Don't miss BBQ night, a great laugh and a great way to mix. We manages to win a bottle of Robola wine (lovely stuff) with our scattered knowledge of Greece and Greek mythology. Kostas and Alex were the perfect hosts and I hope things just keep getting better for them, they deserve it with all the effort they put into the place. Best of luck to you from your favourite (and only) Irish and Danish guests :o)

We arrived back on Saturday from an amazing week in Kefalonia! The Eleni studios are friendly, clean, convenient and peaceful (except on BBQ nights hee-hee). As many people have stated previously, a car is VERY handy and allows you to explore the beautiful scenery and beaches! I would definately recommend the Eleni Studios and hope to return there next year! P.S. Thanks for the yoghurt for Oliver's sunburn - it worked a treat!

We had a fabulous time. Kostas and Alex were excellent hosts and Ilias was the best PR man. Many thanks to you all for giving us the best honeymoon but could you get a bus to run to the beach, that walk was a killer! Fantastic views of the sea and an excellent evening at the BBQ! The quiz questions were a bit dodgy though.

We stayed at the Eleni Studios for one week at the end of May and it was a brilliant holiday, actually one of the best we have ever had.
Eleni Studios has wonderful views and is situated perfectly to have a relaxing holiday. I would recommend car hire to explore the whole island, there is so much to see and do that one week is not enough.
So I guess we have to come back next year.

Kefalonia is a truely beautiful island, with many places to see and visit. We were made very welcome by Kostas, Alex and Ilias at the Eleni Studios and with Kostas' great cooking and barbeque nights you couldn't ask for better hosts. The studios have great views across the sea over to the island of Zante. We had a lovely time and would recommend both the island and Eleni to anyone who would like a relaxing family holiday.

We had a fantastic holiday here. Breakfast by the pool prepared by Alex. Out exploring the beautiful island - in search of the perfect beach - everyone was very frindly. Then back to the pool to catch the sunshine and have a couple of Mythos. After that time for a rest in our clean, cool apartment. Just enough time to get our energy back to go for a meal - I would recommend Kostas' cooking in particular the barbecue (but hey us Scots are just too god as these quizzes!)
Everyone who was there was great and to our geordie friends an all of you who are thinking of visiting the Eleni all we can say is "Oh Yes!"

We all had a great time staying at the Eleni.Kostas and family are very friendly.The studios are clean,bar and pool area spotless.We couldnt fault a thing apart from the questions on quiz night.Kostas made lovely food and did great BBQs.We only walked to the beach once.After that we hired a car.Walking back up the hill is a killer. We was glad we hired the car as we got to see most of the beutifull island.Thanks to Kostas,Alex and not forgeting Ilios,the best barman,for making our holiday one to remember.love Pat,Brian,Jo,Frank,Patrick,Mel and Joshua.

Just come back from Eleni Studios for the second time (stayed two years ago). Kostas was the same as ever very friendly and keen to make sure we had a good holiday. The appartments are excellent and very clean. Great food cooked by Kostas (also good breakfasts from Alex). The Eleni Studios are a great place to stay. Don't know what(Susan Wallace, april 2003) problem is Kostas is a great guy and the perfect host. We have never seen him any different with anyone whether they are spending money in the bar or not!!!
Can't wait to come back

just got back from our first visit to this beautiful island,what a fantastic holiday we had, it was made all the better for staying at the eleni studios. kostas,ilias and alex were the perfect hosts, the food was great and ilias' special cocktail was so much better than kostas'. the apartments were immaculate as were the pool area and bar,it was the perfect holiday,on the lovliest of islands made all the nicer by our lovely host. you,d be mad to go anywhere else.

A fantastic week at the beginning of May. Everything and everyone was superb.Kostas was a wee bit cheeky to the only 2 Scots on holiday so i would suggest more of us book to give him more grief.He was a bit upset that we one the first quiz of the year (without cheating of course)only some Geordies and Mancunians to beat !! (only kidding everybody).Ilias get your haircut!!!!! and don't say the Scots are mean with their Euro's I would suggest to anybody hiring a car to use CBR car hire 79 Euros for 3 days. There is a little hill down to the beach so don't take granny.Climbing gear maybe, but some people need a little excercise on holiday!! Fantastic holiday - just got back into the Manchester rain from sunny Lourdas and the fabulous Eleni Appartments - we cannot fault Kostas and his team - the standards he keeps in the accomodation, pool, restaurant and bar are excellent. Kosta is a great host (as well as a great chef) - his quiz night was fab and very very funny - everyone really enjoyed it. 2 tips if you stay here - rent a car for the days and enjoy the hospitality and good food / wine (& don't miss his quiz) on offer at Eleni.

We stayed at eleni studios last summer and we are going back this May too. We loved the area and the studios. The view and the local beaches were very clean and some of them very quiet too. Especially we liked sistia beach that is was recomended to us by kostas. This is a lonely beach that there is not in the local maps. The best part of our holidays was the family and friendly atmosphere that therewas
around the pool and at the bar. We never were pushed by the stuff to
use the bar or the pool. But every night we were using the hotel bar because it had the best prices and atmosphere. Kefallonia we are back
for two weeks this summer.Kostas keep the good prices and i ll help you changing the barrels.....

I would recomend Eleni Studios to any one looking to go for a relaxing holiday. The whole atmosphere is very calm and friendly. Kostas, the host, made us feel most welcome. The food was excellent and it was really good value too. (I had the best steak Ive ever had on the BBQ night.) Any way, beleive me, Its well worth a try.

Kostas was the perfect host me and my wife had a lovely honeymoon and the food was five star. I recommend eleni studios to anybody who wants the honeymoon of their life. Beautiful surroundings and coastlines and beaches wonderful views. Holiday of a lifetime and we felt very homely at the studios especially with the fabulous barbecue

our holiday to kefalonia was one of the best i have ever had -apart from the hills!! The view from our apartment was one of the best i have seen (we stayed in casa de blue), we tended to use the pool at the eleni sudios and this was brilliant, costas made us feel really welcome. wewill definatley be back next year

The genial philosopher, Kostas, made sure that we were comfortable and happy on regular occasions. He, Alex and Yvonne were the source of much amusement. The food was superb, best value in the area, Kostas's sauces were delicious, although the BBQ was a bit dodgy. Make sure you ask for a peach juice! Our best holiday for years.
