Just spent 2 weeks at the Mi'Abeli Studios and had a great holiday. They are located in a great position, near the beach, shops and tavernas. The studio was well maintained and kept very clean. If I had to say anything bad about it, it would be the lack of view from the balcony! I'd stay there again if I went back to Scala.
Lovely beach, bit pebbly so it's a good idea to get some plastic sandals to go in the sea! The sea was lovely and calm most of the time so very safe for swimming. Sunbeds are a bit pricey though (€8). It adds up if you go there a lot.
Great tour. You get to see lots of places on the island. Tour guide was very interesting and gave you lots of information. Entrance to the caves and the lake is optional.
Nice place but not as wonderful as I'd been told. To be honest I don't really know what all the fuss is about. I thought it was a bit of a false tourist attraction really - sorry!
Fantastic!
The staff at the Gallera were possibly the most friendly and pleasant in Scala. We visited a few times. Some meals were better than others. The Vegetable Moussaka and Tortellini were my favourites (I'm a veggie).
Pleasant restaurant, food was ok. Fave meal for me was Briam.
Yum yum yum. The best meals we had in Scala were in The Pines. We had tried a lot of other places before we went there and nowhere was as good. Spring rolls (starter) and stuffed Aubergines (main course) were the best for me (I'm veggie) and I've been told the stuffed lamb was delicious. And at least the veg in The Pines was fresh (I thought it was tinned in a few other places). A bit more pricey than other places but worth it!
