I loved Fiskardo, apart from Lake Melissani it was probably one of the places I enjoyed the most in Kefalonia. Yes it is quiet and relaxed but that is exactly what I like most about the island.
Looks spectacular from above. Well worth teetering over the edge to get a good shot. But a bit disappointing once you've navigated the winding road down.
Too many cars parked up ruined the picturesqueness
Fantastic. Forgot to take camera and that was my greatest regret of the whole holiday.
We booked as allocated on arrival and we could not have wished for anything better.
Pool was great. Within walking distance of both Lassi and Argostoli.
We never had an evening meal here, but the full English was so good we'd walk from Fanari every morning.
Toast and sausages were particularly fantastic, but more importantly, the tea was made with proper milk, not UHT.
Fantastic.
After being highly recommended to visit, and especially recommended to try the Swordfish, I was a little disappointed.
However, waitress was full of personality, and introduced us to Prokris. Which then inspired us to visit the Metaxas winery.
Not a patch on Oscars, but much better than the Olive Press.
The Renee from Allo Allo look alike had good patter to try and drag you into the place.
Red Snapper was nice. Again, nice views.
