Avithos Resort Hotel

could not fault the place we had a most relaxing time at Avithos in August, lovely beaches easily walkable and again some great Tavernas within a short walk or car drive. We have stopped in Skala the last 4 years but found this resort to be perfect for us. WHAT A POOL THEY HAVE

We have just returned after 2 weeks at Avithos Resort. We have never stayed at such an immaculate place  indoors and outside. The staff are all really friendly and will help you at ant time. Avithos beach is about 20 minutes walk away and is very pretty with 2 good Taverna's and excellent food. If you do not have a car then you will walk to Supermarket and Tavernas, we did and really enjoyed it. If you like a quiet and relaxing holiday then you will love Avithos.

best place i have every stayed at in greece. The hotel was great. we booked direct with the hotel and got car hire included for 690 euro for the first week in july. the avithos resort is very quite and great for a relaxing chilling holiday around the pool . you will need a car to get out and explore the island . there are 3 resturants and 1 bar with in 20mins walk. taxi to lassi and to argostoli are 12 euros each way and about a 20 min journey . if possiable ask for a the apartments which have the garden view which are much bigger than the standard apartments. the rooms are of a very high quality including a 20inch lcd tv and dvd player. aircon and a safe are included in the room aswell as a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival . all in all a very nice place to stay.but get a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROOMS/POOL/BAR WERE EXCELLENT AND WELL ABOVE AVERAGE AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY LOOKING FOR PEACE AND QUIET
I WOULD NOT CALL THIS A HOTEL PARTICULARLY AS THERE WAS ONLY A SNACK BAR OPEN DURING THE DAY
CAR HIRE IS NECESSARY I BELIEVE IN PARTICULAR THIS TIME OF YEAR MEANT
SOME TAVERNAS WERE CLOSING DOWN
THE WEATHER WAS EXCELLENT ALL WEEK WHICH DEFINATELY HELPS

We recently stayed at the Avithos Resort Hotel and have to say this is one of our best holidays ever.

The Libra Brochure does this resort no justice whatsoever - it is immaculately kept by a staff who are all prepared to give just that little bit extra which makes all the difference. Not only is the property well maintained but the decor is tasteful and accommodations equipped with high quality fittings.

The location is ideally set - peaceful through the day but close enough to be able to walk to several tavernas at night and is only a 10 Euro taxi ride to Argostoli.

We hope to go back twice in 2005!

It has taken weeks to find you on the Web but we have at last!!

Having had one of the best holidays ever we were determined to give this well run, immaculately presented accommodation some praise.

Ever member of the staff from the gardener to the owner takes pride in what they do. They make it look so easy but they each give that little bit extra to ensure all of their guests enjoy themselves.

We are trying to book for 2 holidays next year.

All we can say is the brochure with Libra does this Hotel no justice . If you have booked here you will love it

We have stayed in Kefalonia for three years now as we like the island so much. This year however the accomodation was better than I have ever experienced in Kefalonia or anywhere else on the Greek islands. The hotel is brand new but unlike some other newly built ones is completely finished and fully open. There is an excellent pool with childrens area and a really good pool bar. Manola only works at yhis own speed behind the bar but thats all part of the Greek way of life. In the evenings there is a lounge bar where the drinks flow freely until whatever time the last man standing finally gives up and goes to bed. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The apartments are much bigger than you usualy get in Greece. They are extremely well equipped with extras such as microwaves and hair dryers. They are cleaned every day and the towles and bed linen was changed at least 4 times during our 2 week stay. We definately plan to go to this accomodation again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet restful holiday in the Greek way of life.
