Didn't know what to expect as it was not in the brochure but were more than pleasantly surprised. Lovely location not 10 metres from the beach with a nice view across the bay to Zakynthos. A bit of a walk up the hill to the main village but we found the nicer tavernas were along the seafront anyway.

Really enjoyed our stay here and it made an excellent base to explore the rest of the island. The sea was beautiful but the shingle beach a little narrow, especially when the waves started coming in! Although it's a long walk from the top of the village down to the beach we found the tavernas on the waterfront were better so I'd advise going for an apartment closer to the beach if you're looking to stay here. Wouldn't hesitate to return (tomorrow given half a chance!).

Very helpful friendly bloke in the Lourdas office, gave us advice on the best places to go snorkelling too.

Can't understand the high rating this place has recieved, guess we caught them on a bad night. I hate being rushed during a meal and having the main courses arrive before we'd finished the starters didn't bode well. As for the food, my girlfriends swordfish seemed like it had been cooked the day before it was so tough and the 'fillet dionysis' was a small steak covered in tinned mushrooms floating in grease. Needless to say, we didn't return.

Lovely view but far too expensive (thought we'd been charged for the complimentary crisps too).

Nice decor, good cocktail selection and a great place to go fishing!

Just got back from a week in Lourdas - only one days rain, although there were a few storms in the mornings before we got up.

The sea was lovely, big waves on the first day so bought a body board, didn't get a chance to use it the rest of the holiday as the sea was so calm - much to my girlfriend's delight. If you walk to the right from the road to Lourdas the beach is much quieter and there's a great little bar.

Nice beach to lie around on working on your tan. Preferred the water in Lourdas but better snorkelling near here.

Loved the accomodation, avoided the reps as had no interest in coach trips and the like, preferring to do it ourselves. Flight times were good but Nordic Airlink aren't. I've never seen such unhelpful miserable stewardesses and that includes flying with bulgarian airlines!
