Great food, great service, fantastic setting and very reasonable prices. Excellent variety of choices on the menu and cater extremely well for vegetarians. Top place to eat.

 

Muses is by far the best watering hole on the island! Nadia and her staff are incredibly friendly, polite and offer the best service in Lourdas. The drinks are average price, cocktails are fantastic (especially the Singapore Slings and Black Russians) and the bar snacks exceptional value for money. The atmosphere is great and even if you don't like football when the matches are on you can sit outside and take in the surroundings. The place is big enough to get away from the Brits getting their fix of sport if thats not your thing. Highly recommend this place to anyone going to Kefalonia. Guaranteed to get great service and value for money. The bar is a credit to Nadia and her team. Don't just take my word for it......go there!!!

 

A nice family run restaurant and the service is excellent. I can see why some people return year after year to this restaurant because Spiros and his team really do make you feel welcome. I'm afraid that's where the positive comments stop though. The first time we went because the place was packed out which is usually a good sign. However the food was greasy and cold.

The second time we went because we thought it might have been an off night. We were wrong. Not a great place if you want to eat traditional Greek food. Fine if you like your chicken and chips...

 

Great place to visit! Take your snorkelling stuff and dive off the rocks on the far end of the town. The walk to the lighthouse is great with fantastic views of Itahca and some of the other islands in the region.

 

I don't think this place is overrated - overpriced yes! It is expensive to eat and some of the souvenirs were way over what you pay in other resorts on the island. Fiskardo is well worth a visit.

 

Just going to add to the positive comments already expressed on here. The views from this castle are stunning.

 

Kastros is such a fantastic place to eat. The owners are warm and friendly - the food excellent. Can't rate this place highly enough.
