Stayed 23/09 - 07/10 and recommend this accommodation 100% even though I have provided some constructive critisism. I visited Lassi 2 years ago with mum and this time was looking forward to sharing it with my boyfriend. We couldn't get the place I stayed with mum but were not disappointed by Apartment No.2, It is big, (2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed, 1 with twin beds). My only gripes are: - the bath was tiny and we had to use that as the shower wasn't powerful enough and the showerhead needs sorting as water came out horizontaly as well as vertically. They could also do with better cleaners (something resembling tomato ketchup on the kitchen floor when we arrived, was still there when we left. Finally I never realised toilet rolls were like gold dust, after the initial one ran out, we were never given any more and had to buy our own. Saying that, we both agreed we would definitely stay here again.
Had to add this comment after reading a negative one complaining about the male staff. My bf and I felt the place had the potential to kick off quite nastily, however during the two weeks we have just spent in Lassi we visited the bar several times and always enjoyed ourselves. The male staff seem to be very observant at all times so that if there were a hint of trouble offenders would be ejected quickly and smoothly. (To our knowledge, nobody was ever asked to leave). Service was never a problem and I hope if I return for a 3rd holiday, at least some of the staff will be there still.
If you do intend visiting this beach where you will get some brilliant views as you drive/ride (even saw some brave cyclists), please please please take our advice and eat at the final taverna opposite the T junction before your finally travel down to the beach. To describe the hut and toilets on the beach as basic, in my opinion is a compliment. You'd do much better enjoying the hospitality of the couple at this taverna, while you eat a delicious meal and pleasantly watch the day go by for an hour or so before making your way down to the beach itself. The gentleman insisted I accompany him into the kitchen to see for myself that the moussaka was being freshly prepared and was not 'one they'd prepared earlier'.
Rude self important staff. Ordered fillet steak and this was nothing like (how hard is it to cook a steak?)We only went this once and it was so disappointing we weren't prepared to waste time or money to give them the chance to redeem themselves because after all, there were plenty of other options.
If you're like us and believe 'when in Rome etc' do not miss the chance to eat here. Staff were lovely, food was great and ambience was perfect.
In 2 weeks we ate here four times.
