this was the worst part of a very nice trip. We went on the day trip called 'discover kefalonia' and this was the second stop, its just a good job that things got better. Very small, overpriced and quite frankly not worth the walk down all those steps!
This is a stunning sight, as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world I guess it should be, we only passed it on a day trip out but definately worth a stop. Very dangerous currents and murky water to beware of.
we were a bit dubious about this one at first but it turned out into one of the best days of our holiday. you are all very well looked after, plenty of room, good food and if you're very lucky some dolphins along the way, what more could you want?! oh and say hi to captain birdseye
you really couldn't ask for anything more than this one! it was a very spacious apartment (no.11 get it if you can!) two huge balconies, nice furniture and the god-send air con. This apartment is much better than the white house which is very noisey at night where as this is slightly set back and as such is 2minutes extra walk to the bars but closer to the beaches (3-4 in close walking distance). Our cleaner was amazing too, not only did she speak good-ish english but she kept the place immaculate and even did all our washing up from the night before before we were out of bed! if you get lucky with the weather as we did (44 degrees the first week and 38+ thereafter) then you cant help but love lassi
