I have booked for the Elena studio's this coming July and looking forward to it. After reading reviws and so on, a comment mentioned regarding a taverna, shame about the cats. I am a real animal lover and was curious as to what that meant. I frequently holiday on the greek islands and have taken pity on the strays - it really pulls at the heart strings!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to dine and drink at Porto Helis. Jane always had a welcoming smile and is a real treasure!!!!! so thanks to you Jane. Costas is extremely helpful, well mannered and always obliging and the food is first rate (even the vegetarian). Please tip them well, they deserve it.

further to my previous comments regarding porto helis,i too like anthony & claire would like to ask any visitors to feed the poor stray cats and lovely dog across the road and not to kick them up the backside as a comment read earlier. well done porto helis you made our holiday!!!!as did anthony & claire. love to all, jane and grahamxxxx

We loved it at Myrtos Bay. Absolutely stunning and so much fun. It is well worth a visit. It will always hold special memories for us. A taste of paradise.

Although I have done enough package holidays!!Had no problem at all with Kosmar.

Svoronata was very quiet and peacful, but without a car you feel stranded. Without meeting up with super people I think I may have gone stir crazy, also shame about the stray cats and dogs. But I now need a change from package holidays...!!!!!

Stuart Fox - I could not beleive that you called me a sad person. I have compassion and a great deal of love to give animals. WHEN I SAID IN MY EARLIER COMMENT (SHAME ABOUT THE STRAY CATS AND DOGS) IT MEANT I FELT SORRY FOR THEM. You obviously jumped to the wrong conclusion there..!! Everyone one that knew me whilst on holiday there commented on me taking pity on the strays. I give them TLC and only wish I could give them a good home.
