Nondas Apartments

My mother and I just came home from lovely Kefalonia (11-18may 2007). We stayed at Nondas Apartments (apt No 1) and are very satisfied. The apartments are great! I think they have been newly renovated, the walls are white as snow and the bathroom is very fresh. There's a toaster and waterbolier.
Spacious balcony where we saw the ocean and the pool at Princess Hotel
One big bed (quite hard) and then two single beds (softer)
The towels aren't that big but they work
 Just a short stroll to the lovely Makris Gialos Beach (best beach on the Island) Two sunbeds with umbrella costs 8EUR/day
And not far to the restaurants (can recommend Tavern Ionan)
You will not be dissapointed if you stay at Nondas Apartments | |

We opted for a budget holiday, the accomdation was basic but just what we wanted. It was clean, quiet and a large sized apartment for 2 people. It was close to the beach all bars and restuarants and a 5 min cab ride to the main town. The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. | ||||||||||

A big thumbs up to Nondas Apartments and a thank you to the friendly family who run them. My partner and I returned yesterday from an enjoyable week spent at the Lassi accomodation. Basic, yes, but given the budget trip we opted for we were more than satisfied. The sea view was an added bonus. Thanks to the obliging owners and a cleaning service which can't be faulted, we have returned to England feeling throughly refreshed - a sure sign of a good holiday! | ||||||||||

| This was the perfect location for a quiet week's break toward the end of the season (September). Whilst we had a couple of days of changeable weather, (apparently the first rain since May!) Nondas appartments were perfect for what we wanted. A budget break, perfectly located just across the road from the best beach in the resort. The appartment was very clean, complete with all the basics you could want. Just a short walk from the well stocked supermarkets and choice of loads of bars and places to eat. Recommend you walk all the way around the coastal path to Agostoli one day if it isn't too hot. Have a couple of stop off's at tavernas on the way including Oscars reception bar where you may even get given a pomegranite to suck on after your snack! Everyone, both visitors and locals are so so friendly. Hopefully, we'll be back! | ||||||||||

| Just returned from a great holiday in Kefalonia (our first visit). Island is great. Apartments have great location with only a short walk to the best beach. They are quite basic, but kept very clean, and the owners couldn't be more friendly. | ||||||||||

| We have just returned from Lassi, Kefalonia and both of us are now looking forward to a peaceful night sleep. We stayed at Nondas Apartments which is located very close to long beach however accomodation is very very basic and could all do with being refurbished throughout especially the sanitation system of flushing the toilet properly. It was very difficult to get a decent night kip as Nondas himself keeps his barking dogs at the bottom of the premises. Sorry Nondas - thumbs down, too noisy! | ||||||||||

| We went to the Nondas after staying in hotel Princess two years ago. As we have a baby know we wanted an apartment. The Nondas is in a great location, on the main Lassi road but set back enough for no noise, however BASIC is the only thing I can say, and we did not think it was suitable for a our son who is 15 months and on the move | ||||||||||

| Stayed here for two weeks last year (went upmarket this year – the Lorenzo Hotel but…..?) We found the Nondas Apartments basic - typical Greek in other words - with just enough equipment to make coffee or boil an egg. They were kept spotlessly clean though, and the owners, who live in one of the apartments during the season, were very helpful, very friendly and obliging. The apartments are just a short walk from the main beach and a little way out from the main part of Lassi (No far though) – so noise isn’t a problem. Right next door to the Princess hotel, so you can use all their facilities (Pool, Bar, Snacks etc.) if you want. We really enjoyed the stay here – simple but clean; friendly but not overbearing; close to all amenities but far enough away not to be disturbed. For good, basic, not over expensive, simple holiday accommodation you can not beat it. Top Marks! | ||||||||||
