Can anyone let me know if all the rooms at Irini Studios in Lassi kefalonia have sea views ?
Some travel agents have told me that the rooms have inland views only? Which is the best travel agent to book through.

I did stay at the Irini apartments in Lassi, in June 2008. I've just got back and they were wonderful. Newly refurbished and perfectly clean. The view from the balcony meant that I would have put up with just about anything, so the refurb was just a bonus. I've attached photos as words don't do it justice. For the price it is amazing. I was on the first floor, the ground floor one needed a bit more peering around greenery; the top floor must have been incredible. Oh, pretty much a daily, very friendly maid service too. The location is just above Lassi on a hill - not Everest, not even a hill really, more of a slope - and shouldn't be tricky for anyone without walking difficulties. It justifies an ice cream no more.
A wonderful place that I can't recommend highly enough. I can understand that before the refurb and expansion some people may have been put off internally - some people expect the Ritz as someone else said, even if they haven't paid enough for a bag of Ritz crackers - but even the pickiest interior designers would be satisfied now. | |

 i would just like to say despite all the nasty comments about jenny studios lassi. we have just returned yesterday and we have had a fantastic time. the small family run buisness by antonio and his son jerry. yes they are a funny couple when you first meet them but you grow to love them. they made our holiday. antonio is a fantasic cook so we never ventured fair to eat for breakfast or evening meal. yes the rooms are very basic and can be a bit of a shock when you first go in but again you grow to love it. roll on next year we will be back to see antonio and jerry. well done guys.

| Having glanced at a few comments on Irini before my girlfriend and I left i just thought i'd post one myself upon our return. The Irini room we stayed in on the 2nd floor was of perfect size as indeed they have been knocked through. but even if it were half the size the view from the balcony(s) over the sea and the perfect sunsets every evening would have made up for it. My girlfriend and I stayed for merely a week and had the best time in Lassi. i would reccomend the resort of Lassi and especially the Irini apartments to anybody wanting a relaxed retreat with their loved one. | We have just got back a week ago. The Irini Apartments are lovely and spacious (now that they have been knocked through making two rooms into one) ideal for us as a young couple. We were on the second floor and the view was incredible. Rooms cleaned and towels and bedding changed every couple of days. Some rooms have fans, ours didn't so in the 40 degree heat it got very hot without air conditioning, but sitting on the balcony in the shade with that view made it worth it. After a long day at the beach that hill is a killer, but you can use the pool at the end of the drive for a small local charge. We will stay here again if we ever go back to Lassi. | ||||||||||

| Location : Good Quietness : Excellent Cleanliness : Average Me and my sister Priti just arrived back from Lassi last week June 2003 and we stayed at the Iri-elena studios for 1 week. The rooms were quite basic but very comfortable and pleasant! Prior to out holiday we had read alot of comments about Iri-elena apartments which were not that positive and we were abit apprehensive about it, but when we got there we were very pleasantly surprised! think the comments made were abit extreme and OTT. Studios are situated on top of a steep slope, which meant it was abit of a trek walking back up every day, but that walk was very welcome as it gave us daily exercise! also it is about 20mins walk to the beaches so be prepared for that extra hike :o) we did not mind this at all as it is a pleasant walk down. so all in all - a very plesant comfortable place to stay, and peace and quiet too!! | We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kefalonia and, although the Irini Studios are not the best in the world, they were perfect for our needs. Small but clean and in a really good location. Lots of cats and kittens around but they're cute.... We are going back to Kefalonia again this year with the same tour operator and would not mind in the slightest if we ended up in Irini again. | ||||||||||

| since last year these studios have become 1 bed apartments and so doubling the size. Views amazing( we had top floor room) and only 11 rooms in block. Steep walk uphill but nice and quiet. Generally pretty basic but roomy and clean enough. Stayed May 2003. Only drawback was very poor service from Olympic Holidays and 12 hour return flght delay. | ||||||||||

| Honeymoon - June 2000. Lassi appartments are extremley small. They only give you 2 hand towels but towels & sheets are changed daily. Floor is brushed & toilet cleaned daily. If 2 rooms were knocked into one then this would probably make a very nice appartment block. Very steep hill to walk up, not good if your unfit! Georgeous view. Pool just before appartment was lovely, cleaned morning & night, great care taken to make sure it was clean. Would not stay at Irini Studios again as far too small,which is a pitty, but everything else was fine. | ||||||||||
