The Kegatos Studios are just the best!

The steep hill is hard work in the heat of the day not so bad on a night time when its cooler.

The views have got to be the best on the island.  Top or second floor studios are the best rooms to have.  The rooms are well equiped with new plates, cups, glasses, pans and a kettle.  Lassi has plenty of restaraunts to choose from along with just enough bars to have a different choice every evening.  Lassi is not for the resort for the people who enjoy Benidorm or Magaluf but is more for someone who wants to experience a relaxing quieter holiday. 5 min walk from the best beach on the island.

A great holiday we cant wait to go back.   

 

Stayed here at the end of the season (Sep 06) and enjoyed a brilliant week.  Excellent weather and stunning views from the balcony.  It must be one of the best locations on the island.  Apartments clean, tidy and well maintained providing exceptional value for money.  Will certainly look to stay here again

These apartments have their pros and cons.

Pros were that we expected basic accomodation for the price paid and this is what we found.  Daughter of owner (we assume) visited accomodation regularly and was friendly.  Good views of coast from 2nd & 3rd floor apartments and reasonable from ground floor (we requested above ground floor at time of booking but got ground floor). 

Cons were that cleanliness has scope for improvement such as top covers of beds were heavily stained and quickly dispensed with on arrival, sheet next to mattress also stained.  Towels could have been changed more regularly.  Shower in same room as toilet with no shower curtain in between and no above shower head holder.  Also wasps/bees were regularly outside our apartment and also many around the courtyard fountain when switched off (fountain was on a timer to only come on at certain times during the day and evening). 

 

Just back today, appartments nice and clean but we were on bottom floor in the corner and the smell of damp under the sink and when first walking into appartment was off putting.

We had no window or ventilation in the bathroom and I think thats what the problem was, otherwise good. The walk up the hill wasn't too bad I've had worse in Lourdas......that's a killer.

 

Weather as usual brilliant, people lovely and island gorgeous, only thing we noticed this year and we've been 5 years running, was that there seems to be a complex or some such thing over the bay in Lixouri and this spoilt it. it stands out a mile and we wondered whether this was the satrt of things changing.

They are situated on a hill, and i admit it sometimes was hard work... but the view is worth it. I've been to Kefalonia 3 times and it is one of the most beautiful islands, It is best to hire a car and see the island, you won't regret it.                                                                                                                                       The apartments is also very close to Makris Yialos beach..which is the best in Lassi.                                   

Stayed at Kekatos Studios in May 2005. They are excellent. Modern, well equiped and clean and just a 5 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach. The view from the top floor is great. Only comments on the resort is that it is even quieter than we thought it would be!! Even in the middle of summer, I cannot imagine Lassi being busy which in itself will be an attraction to a lot of people. Try the "Ionio" taverna down the far end of the resort, excellent food and very friendly staff. The "Eden" bar next door is also very nice. Hire a car and get about. The roads are also very quiet at this time of year and you can do the lot in 3 days. The island is very pretty. Make sure you go to Myrtos beach and the underground lake. Take the ferry from Agostolli to Lixouri, well worth the ride at only 1 euro 60.
