Cheap and cheerful. Man made beach a bit grotty. Walk to Palatino pool a bit far, really. Quite nice rooms. OK bar.  Easy going staff.

i have been to kef about 12 tomes over the years. I go to the summery hotel as a private client now. it works out cheaper. Makis and Paula left the island due to a big family argument. They came back to England set up a bar in the middlands area

Stayed here as part of a Thomson Holiday package - bed and breakfast. The hotel is ok though nothing to get excited about. The breakfast we had was bread & jam, yogurt, tea or coffee and orange. You could buy a cooked breakfast if you wanted it. Everthing seemed to cost extra, t.v, fan. (A/C not turned on) Handy position for walk into town and Lepeda beach a 20 min walk away. We were told we could use Summery Hotel pool - but that cost. As a Thomson client we walked up to the Paletino hotel and used that for free. It seemed a better place, but further out. We enjoyed our holiday, but we did not go expecting too much!

We've stayed here a few times (the last being 1998) so it can't be that bad can it? The area as a whole seems a bit scruffy at first glance but don't let that put you off. Friendly staff in the hotel but everthing takes ages to happen (eg if you order lunch, allow about an hour for it to arrive). There is a man made beach at the back but if you don't fancy that, the hotel a few hundred yards away has an adequate pool. The Poseidon bar used to be run by a bloke called Makis who had an English wife called Paula. They had gone by 1999 - does anyone know where they are now?
