8/10This hotel definately has the best location in Lassi and out of the 4 times I have visited it is the best place so far. The private beach is nice and the sunbeds are free, any other beach you are paying stupid prices. I stayed in one of the bungalows which opened onto a garden. The pool is OK and very clean but I never spent much time by the pool with so much to discover! Loved the breakfasts but wasn't keen on the evening meals as I like a chioice so I ate out every night.

Just got back from one week in the Hotel Galaxy.
I absolutely loved the location, we hired a car from the airport so we would not be stranded as it is 3km from lassi and Argostoli.
There are lots of little beaches scattered about and one right outside the hotel next to the Fanari lighthouse.
The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were very clean with cleaners every day. The pool and pool area was cleaned every morning.
a couple of days there was no hot water, there was no fridge. The breakfast was standard.
I think the hotel is possibly 30 or 40 years old.
I enjoyed staying at the hotel and didn't really have any problems as I got a great deal.

The point of me posting these messages is so that other people can read all kinds of reviews not just The biased ones!
Just got back from Kef, I thought I'd give the So Simple bar another go and it was bad! Back in 2001 it rocked but now it's got awful music, mardy staff and is boring as hell. The only good thing about it is that it looks nice but the seats feel damp and lots of bugs and stuff fall out the trees onto you.
