IN JUNE 2004 WE STAYED AT THE IRINNA HOTEL IN SVORONATA. EVERY NIGHT WE VISITED LA CALMA. GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE.THE BEST THING HOWEVER WAS THE BAR. THIS PLACE SERVES THE BEST COCKTAILS IN KEFALONIA(sex on the beach etc). THE STAFF WERE COOL TOO. NIKOS IS VERY SWEET AND HONEST, PHILLIPOS IS VERY SMOOTH (LADIES WELCOME). DEFINETELY THE PLACE TO VISIT IN KEFALONIA!!! ps THEY EVEN TOLD US THAT GREECE WOULD WIN EURO 2004!! YEAH RIGHT...PETE AND EMMA(UNIQUE)

WE STAYED IN KEFALONIA THE SAME WEEK AS MEL (OTHER REVIEW) I CANT BELIEVE HE GAVE LA CALMA SUCH A BAD REVIEW. THEY BAKED A LOVELY CAKE FOR HIS WIFE'S BIRTHDAY AS THEY DID FOR MY GIRLFRIENDS BIRTHDAY (TOTALLY FREE). HE EVEN HAD HIS PICTURE TAKEN BEHIND THE BAR WITH NIKOS AND PHILLIPOS ON LAST NIGHT. HOWEVER HE DID TRY TO ENTERTAIN EVERYBODY WITH HIS TERRIBLE KARIOKE WHICH DIDN'T GO DOWN WELL. HE BLAMED THE STAFF FOR BAD SOUND!!!!

DECENT LOCATION,NEAR AIRPORT.EXCELLENT POOL. DOWN SIDE; ROOMS VERY BASIC. NO KETTLE,TEA OR COFFEE. BATH TOO SMALL LIKE SINK. RESTAURANT BLAND.

La Calmas is still the best cocktail bar in Kefalonia and I should know I just spent 2 weeks touring the island. I've been in many bars and restaurants and La Calmas is number 1. It is a family business and they are great. Check it out...

Panorama Village - (Accommodation in Lassi)
Panorama Apartments are lovely. Very spacious and clean. There's a nice little bar that stays open until 1am. The barman is called Dennis and he is very cool. The veiw from the apartments are amazing. It is very peaceful here. The only thing that people were complaining about was the fact that you have to walk up a hill to get to the apartments. Believe me it's not that bad. If you really find this hill hard work then your probably heading for a heart attack. Get fit you lazy sods!!!!!
May - (Best Time to Visit)
Just got back from a 2 week holiday in Lassi (3rd May to 17th). The first week we had warm days but cold nights and I do mean cold. 2nd week much better. Beaches are empty at this time of year which pleased me. May is a good time to visit Kefalonia.
