Very relaxed and good value restaurant. First class service, particularly from a young Czech waitress.
Not expensive by English standards but certainly by those in Greece. Huge portions of very indifferent food and an over bearing proprietor in Lorraine.
Basically, Lourdas is a bit of a dump. It has a long, gritty beach which is susceptible to wind particularly in the afternoon. Behind it there is a dusty road and an untidy scattering of restaurants. Forget any ides of idyllic Greek coves. Go Makros Gallios instead or better still, Ithaka or Lefkada.
This is an excellent, pretty and sandy beach with a couple of bars and a restaurant offering good value food and ice cold beer. Good shady parking. Boat hire, skiing and other watewrsports on the beach. Two beds and a sun umbrella for 8 Euros. First class
Published prices are negotiable. A Suzuki Swift for 5 days cost us 140 Euros. But, ideally go for something with a little more power, this is a very hilly island.
Over priced and over rated. If you are going then insist now that you will not take a ground floor studio, the views from which are generally poor. From number 14 the view is primarily of a steel garden shed in the allotments which lie between the apartments and the beach.
A beautiful pool but, nevertheless, very poor value and in a resort which is a bit of a dump.
Delightful. Wondeful location. Marvellous views and simple but attentive service. Simple food at very inexpensive prices. Highly recommended.
