We just returned from a fortnights holiday and found the hotel to be an excellent place stay. The food was absolutley superb, we only ate out once (a Chinese...it was rank!)so saved ourselves quite alot money. The waiter and waitress that served us were fantastic they were always keen to help. The cleaning staff were our favourites they were so funny and so chatty, (help them out a little and only get your room cleaned every other day, i'm sure they will appriciate it, tell them a little chinaman told you). The rooms were fine you can turn the aircon to min and that would cut down any noise but Greek TV must be the worse ive ever come across (we only watched BBC world news, i nearly slit my wrists after 2 weeks of that!). The only draw back really was the small climb to the shops (it felt like a mountain in the searing heat). I would highly recomend this hotel and I am already missing it.
As a resort it was really nice the only thing that spoilt it was some bloke that worked in resturant called the Adonis, what a rude, loud mouthed little toe rag he was! And all my girlfriend did was to brush pass one of his chairs, and he went ballistic. Don't eat there....but the rest of people were very nice.
The shopping in the town was pretty good but the clothes shops were really expensive but they had a wide choice.
One thing.....Please if you go to the town.....please feed some of those poor dogs! heartbreaking! we spent most of our time on a mercy mission giving out Bonios, ham, sausages and water to these unfortunates. Did anyone see the pregnant dog? poor thing!
