The Crystal Palace is fabulous! We stayed at the Afrato Apartments and the walk from there is only about 10 minutes. The food is brill and the service is great. The first time we went was for lunch, we had a kind of tapas meal with stuffed tomatoes, fried eggplants and courgettes and mushrooms a la creme. The best part of both meals were the little cheese pies they are absolutly brilliant! As we are all vegetarian the second time we went, in the evening, we asked what they did for vegetarians as some of the things we didnt understand (they were in greek) the waiter said he could do a vegetarian platter so my dad had that, when it came there was fried courgettes, butter beans, stuffed vine leaves and a kind of vegetable rice thing, he said it was great. Whether you are a vegetarian or not this restaurant is definatly the best place you could eat! Try the Kefalonian wine it is fab!

Do you like your food luke warm? If so this restaurant is for you. We went here once for my fathers birthday, after a long time we were told that the meals we had chosen were not available so we pick tomatoes, they were luke warm so my father went to speak to the waiter. He asked him if they were supposed to be hot or cold and after spluttering for a while he said "Ah,..ah well see there was power surge, power down," flapping his hands around, my dad asked why he hadn't told his customers that and he couldn't answer the question. After many grumbles and groans he said we could have the meal free of charge. We did not come back here again.

It was OK here, we only went the once but if your are vegetarians then I wouldnt advice you to have the stuffed tomatoes because you get peppers and there is meat in them! Although the waiter had quite good english and went through the menu with us.

We stayed here for a week it was great! Really clean, good kitchen equipment ( grill, 2 hobs, fridge) Pans and some utensils are available. Good pool and bar, great hosts.

It was fantastic!!!!!!! Great bar! Great music! Fabulous Cocktails!! Great service!!
