we stayed at the andreas last year for the last week in July and First in August. the weather was 40degrees and the Travlos's (Elizabeth and Dennis) couldnt do enough to help you. the room was spotless and cleaned regularly (more often if you asked), the location perfect and the hospitality personal and faultless. Elizabeth got up at six am to wave us off and even gave us a momento of our stay. we have left it too late to book there this year and have had to book the San Giorgio which just cannot be as good. the only criticism was Kosmar and the lies they told about the delayed flight home,('forgot' to inform us of a 20 hour delay!) not the fault of the travlos'and the andreas who i would reccomend unreseredly. i have noted the comments about the pool prices remember you get precisely what you pay for if you dont want to get off your sunlounger (which they provide free of charge) then pay for the privelidge of having a drink brought over to you...........some poeple!
we spent every day there for breakfast, the staff very attentive and couldnt be more polite and helpful. the brother and sister work alternate days and were really verey nice. the food was excellent served quickly with a smile.! the waitresses are indeed very pretty but we both thought the son of the owner had the most fantastic backside in the greek islands.
the comments entered by other customers do suprise us, as we never had any cause for complaint. we witnessed a lady complain about her meal (after she had eaten it and had been asked twice if everything was to her liking). the daughter of the owner offered her a free meal the next evening which she accepted, i would have been less generous.she was clearly a professional complainer. we would reccomend this restaurant unreservedly but if youre a nit picker (my chicken was served too quickly if you please!) then go elsewhere, im sure they wont mind.
the apartment was clean and well serviced by friendly staff. however you can hear a pin drop from the rooms above and adjacent ( which is fine if they're dropping pins but ours was s**gging and clip clopping around in high heels- hence no sleep. the resort of scala is very nic but takes forty minutes to walk and is just too far after a day on the beach, or when youve got dresssed to go out and you dont fancy a four kilometer wlk. the taxis are rip off merchants and go on lightning strikes without any notice. ( clearly the life they have is just too hard and charging four euros for a four minute taxi ride isnt enough for them) the views from the high rooms are spectacular, however the steps to climb make it a bit too much of a chore. overall an excellent place spoile by the distance and the facist taxi drivers. a definate no go again place
we liked it because everywhere else was a bit 'couple-ey'. the staff are friendly and the prices ok. the 'rock chick' waitress is so funny and welcomes you with well practiced smile.
Nice cool atmosphere chilled music and friendly waitress. she's poor at maths and the bill is always from her head, however she was very nice and attentive. just a nice place
Shingle, not sand quiet not overcrowded, all sun beds bunched up together, but miles of beach to find a private spot. can get very hot (42degrees) so take shade, shoes ( a must) and water. spend the whole ay here and relax. perfect
We are returning to the Andreas Apartments on the 16th of July this year for 2 weeks, we stayed there two years ago but couldn’t get in last year, due to its popularity.
I am surprised to read the comments on this site which describe
I would However like to say that as a couple without children, we are extremely grateful for the way in which
This is definitely not a “Brits Abroad” establishment and it is worth every penny of the cost to have quiet, well managed clean and comfortable accommodation.
We look forward to returning this year to the
