We found the apartments to be very basic but very clean, the location is ideal as it is away from the main road. It is also not very far from a nice pool that you can use called the makis bar/pool! Bill and Marie are both lovely people and speak very good english, they also both love children. We were only there for 1 week and wished we had gone for longer. If you dont intend to cook or walk very far these apartments are ideal. Roll on next year when we are coming back!!!

excellent location right on the beach. We ate there 5 nights out of 7 and they also do take aways. Once they get to know your face you also get discounts!! The food is gorgeous and well worth the money, with a variety of greek, english and italian dishes (also quite cheap compared with other restaurants). They are also very accommodating for small children and dont mind them running around! Very highly recommended!

Abit disappointing as the children couldnt really swim here as the undercurrant was quite strong and my 2 year old got swept in and then my husband lost his wedding ring!! Make sure you wear flip flops or jelly shoes as the shingle beach is quite sharp!! Its ideal if you want to go snorkelling!

Just returned from a 1 week holiday to skala, if you are going you will love it!! Very peaceful,clean and charming. Everybody really friendly. Not over run with tourists but just the right amount of atmosphere. Go down to the main square at night and have a go on the little train, we went on it twice with the kids and loved it. It does get very hot during the day, it peaked 43c whilst we where there. But we loved it and will be going back!
