ME AND MY HUSBAND HAVE VISITED LOURDAS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS, AND WE HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THAT LA MER IS THE BEST RESTURANTS IN THE RESORT. LAST YEAR WE STAYED AT THE FIONA, WHERE WE MET JEANNETTA AND THIS SUMMER SHE WAS WORKING AT THE LA MER, WE HAVE ALWAYS FOUND HER VERY WELCOMING AND FULL OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE ISLAND, UNLIKE THE REP WE HAD THIS SUMMER IN MAY, HER NAME WAS LIANNE, WHO AS ALSO MADE A COMMENT ON THIS WEBSITE ABOUT JEANETTA, MANY PEOPLE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH JEANETTA'S SERVICE AND WAS ALSO VERY POPULAR UNLIKE LIANNE WHO WAS SACKED BY THE TOUR OPERATOR FOR VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE TOUR OPERATOR RECEIVED MANY COMPLAINTS, ONE BEING A COMPLAINT LETTER FROM OURSELVES.

ME AND MY HUSBAND STAYED AT FIONA IN 2000 AND 2001, WE FOUND THAT THE ROOMS WERE GOOD AND WE ENJOYED DRINKING IN THE BAR IN THE EVENINGS. WE ARE PLANNING ON RETURNING THIS SUMMER 2003, FIONA IS SITUATED AT THE TOP END OF LOURDAS AND IS NEAR 6 TAVERNAS AND 2 BARS AND 3 MINI MARKETS. LOURDAS IS APPROX 1.5 MILES LONG FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. WE WOULD RECOMMEND FIONA TO ANYONE, GOOD SIZE SWIMMING POOL AND NICE CLEAN ROOMS. LOURDAS IS A VILLAGE RESORT AND THE TOP END OF LOURDAS IS WHERE YOU CAN FIND THINGS TO DO

THIS ACCOMADATION IS OLD AND VERY BASIC. WE HAD SOME SLEEPLESS NIGHTS NOISE FROM THE POOL BAR,ALSO BUILDING WORK GOING ON NEXT DOOR. ANYONE THINKING OF ATTENDING THE MARIA ANNA BBQ THINK TWICE ITS A WASTE OF GOOD MONEY!!!

We stayed here on a late deal, and do not wish to stay here again, the place was old and in need of refurbishment. we give this place 4/10 we did visit next door the Antoneer and the Fiona which both had swimming pools. We liked Lourdas and will come back, we did our drinking in the Muzes Bar and Astra, and we tried most of the resturants.

We were staying at the Maria Anna on a late booking, we did visit the Astra twice, the Music was very loud unlike the music at the Muzes Bar, drinking in Kefalonia is not cheap, but me and my wife soon noticed the attraction at the bar was the bar man Makis, watch out all you single girls, some of you may remember the film Shirley Valentine!!!! we met one girl, called Claire, who was having a nice time and its only half way through the season!!!!!

We stayed at the Maria Anna and we went to Astra and to Muzes, drinks are same price as the U.K. the music was too loud the main attraction was the bar man called Makis, watch out you single girls have you seen the film Shirley Valentine, one sure thing he was having a good summer
