I am going to Kefalonia in September 2003 for my best friends wedding. The whole party is staying at White Rocks Hotel but because I am wanting a single room I am not allowed to book and have to wait until the end of january. I am hoping that somebody has a telephone number for White Rocks so I can contact them about helping me. I would be extremley grateful of anybody's help.

Returned from Kefalonia on Sunday 14th Sept and had a fantastic time. My best friend went out there to get married and most of our party stayed at White Rocks. There isnt much that I can find fault about my only major problem was that I was the only single person (therefore only needed room for 1).I got the worse room you could get, so if anybody is offered room 204 when they get there asked to be moved, the laundry is based underneath the room and it starts at about 7.15am till about 3.30pm and does sometimes stay on longer. However I asked to be moved and found the staff extremley friendly and very helpful and they moved me as soon as they has a spare room. Nothing was too much trouble. Food is good although if you are staying for 2 weeks the menu does tend to get quite boring, but the portions are good. They offer a lunch ticket in exchange of your evening meal if you want a meal out - I highly recommend the Monte Nero - this was where the wedding reception was held - the food was brillant with lots of it - you have to go just to try the meatballs. Yum Yum!!. Would reccomend that you hire a car that way you get to see so many pretty sites.
If going to Argostoli look out for turtles they come right up to the harbour wall.
I would go again and if you are thinking of going then White Rocks is a good hotel to stay at.

My friend held her wedding reception here in the evening and the food was fantastic. It was a set menu she chose and I have never seen soo much food in all my life it was unbelievable. I highly recommend the meatballs they just melt in the mouth. Again as somebody has already mentioned only wish we discovered it sooner.
