After four years eating in Katelios we know where to go next week when we return.
Returning yet again, looking forward to Katelios superb cooking and hospitality. Egg mayonnaise salad must not be missed, and Papa Spiro's roast pork is be tasted to believe. Peter & Maureen
Hoping Taverna will still be open as we hope to enjoy hospitality at Katelios Taverna this year week commencing 3rd October. Food and hospitality A1 but we missed it in 2009 as we took our holiday late October and restaurant was closed. However, we did see Papa Spiro who confirmed everyone was well.
Maureen & Peter4Everyone visiting Katelios must visit the Katelios Taverna.
We have just returned from our holiday, and again have been delighted with the food and warm and friendly family running this taverna. Nothing is too much trouble and the one delight that is a MUST is to persuade the proprietor Papa Spiros to personally cook his Roast Pork. It is a gem; soft, tender with a very gentle infusion of herb flavour, a very subtle flavour. It is slow roasted to bring out the subtle flavour and to ensure that it is moist and totally tender. Wow, but you will need to ask for the dish as it is not on the usual menu.
