Our favourite restaurant in Skala: proper home cooked food, friendly service, very clean & more tranquil spot than some on the street places.

Slow service even at quiet times & food fairly non-descript.

Nice tranquil location & authentic Greek restaurant (so you get all your courses in the wrong order & sometimes dishes you hadnt ordered!) Owner makes amends by sloshing free glasses of wine/ouzo around but then presents a rather hefty bill at end: over charging? : couldnt decipher the Greek. Watch out for flea bites from resident cat/kittens. Would still go back though.

Good taverna: friendly efficient service & good food. Cephalonian meat pie tasty & v filling.

Yes it's often busy but the waiters are ultra-efficient. We werent put under any pressure to vacate the table at the end of meals, even though others were waiting for tables. Wide range of dishes : some better than others. lamb fournisto & some of the veggie options bit bland. Spaghetti basilico ( a la pesto) good: fresh basil. Lamb a la pines Ok but looked as if been prepared well in advance & re heated. Meat Ok.
