Myself and a friend stayed here in June this year and were very impressed.  The whole place is very clean and modern and very well equipped for a greek apartment!  We had a ground floor room which we were a bit worried about being lone females but we needn't have worried as we were quite safe.  Location wise, it is near the Dionysios apartments but on a much quieter road.  The nearby Makis apartments are excellent if you want use of a pool, the beach is only 5-10 mins walk away down the main road.  We would definitley stay here again. 

My friend and I stayed at Michalis in July this year and found the apartments fine for our needs.  They are very well situated, close to the beach (view point end) and a stones throw from the main street.  Basic but clean, we had room 13 and looked out the rear of the apartments.  There were only 2 plug sockets in our room which can be a bit inconvienient but no real problem. I would advise getting a fan, we had the sun most of the day and it was quite hot when we returned from the beach. Very quiet apart from some road noise at night (the studios are not on a main road, but we could see the road that goes past the view point from our balcony).  I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone wanting somewhere close to everything.  I want to go back!   

Katelios beach is ok, totally different atmosphere to Scala, its very laid back and has sand which gently shelves into the sea.  The best bit is if you take the sea taxi from Scala, you can catch it next to the glass bottom boat and he also goes to Poros.  Only 11 euro for a round trip (Scala-Katelios-Scala), brilliant, my 9 out of 10 is really for the taxi trip!
