The sausage starter was beautiful, but it all went downhill after that! Main meal was not as described( the "plain" steak waas covered in sauce) and tasted greasy. Felt like we were being rushed through our meal with the waiter hovering. It was a shame because it was one of the prettiest bar/rests around.
By far and away the friendliest restaurant in Scala. George and all the waiters treat you like family no matter how many times you visit, or how much you spend!! The food is excellent whether you try a greek dish, or stick with something you can pronounce! Cocktails were great and the big screen TV's were put on whatever you asked to watch. Can't recomend highly enough!

Have to agree with Neils view from Oct'04, beauty really is only skin deep. The hotel surroundings were breathtaking and the rooms served their purpose as a base (but were kept clean), but the hotel management leave a lot to be desired once they find out you are not going to spend every wakeing moment there with your money. Found the manageress to be quite snotty on a couple of occations when asking questions, and with the ammount of buisness they are doing, could really afford a new toaster with ease. Pool and surroundings were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It is a pity that such a lovely place to stay was let down by management, as the rest of the hotel staff were always pleasent
