This will be my first visit to this island although i have visited Aghistri last year, and would welcome information on the beaches in this area

Please tell me about these apartments, i have booked a studio for 1/9 for 14 nights.

I have noticed that some comments are referring to prices increasing on the Island due to the good old euro, last year on Aghistri you would pay for instance 550/600 drac for a bottle of beer and you could easily eat in a Taverna for anything from 1500 to 3000 drac for a main course, can anyone advise the approx costs on Kefalonia for a beer and a meal???

I have noticed from some of the comments that Greece may be becoming expensive compared with previous years, as this is my first visit to Kefalonia, can some one advise re general prices, we have eaten in Tavernas on other islands for 2500 drac and a beer was 500 drac, replies welcomed please
