We found the 'Blue Sea' less than average, the service was slow and poor. I asked the waiter if I could have my Red Snapper filleted, "of course". When it eventually arrived it was full of bones and accompanied by one slice of tomato and half a lemon. That was it! No garnish whatsoever. At €25.5 for the one fish it can only be described as a 'Rip Off'. You have been warned!
A lovely restaurant, great setting in the rear courtyard. Nothing negative to say. The red house wine was quite pleasant for Greek wine.
The Kefalonian meat pie is delicious.
Lamb Mi Abeli. Dissapointing, but well cooked and tasty for a cheap cut of lamb, surrounded with a few spuds. I don't think the Feta cheese compliments the lamb though. But a nice restaurant with great staff and well worth a visit.
All the other comments say it all! An excellent restaurant all round.
Not to be missed!
The nicest Tuna steak we have ever tasted. A very basic restaurant to look at. But the food more than makes up for it.
Greece as we all know means 'basic'. We stayed in no.28. The leg fell off the bed and the mattress on the bed had the springs sticking through. The facilities like a kettle and a toaster were none existent.Basic utensils like knives were broken. I suggest the owner has a good look around and invests a little capital in upgrading his accomadation to a basic standard.Being located on a corner It was also noisy at times with coaches picking up and dropping off in the early hours.
Apart from that it was OK.
Excellent restaurant as always! My wife and I visited this restaurant twice and on both occassions it was excellent. The kefalonian meat pie is great and the fillet steak was superb, cooked just the way I asked. The setting in the rear courtyard is lovely.
