This was our favourite restaurant....well worth the walk to the beach! The venue is perfect for a relaxed evening meal overlooking Lourdas beach. The food was superb - if you've not yet tried Saganaki (fried hard-cheese), then here is the perfect place! Atmosphere is completely relaxed and staff are extremely friendly. Big helloooooo to everyone at Klimatis - esp Yanna the vodka drinking Slovakian and Leo the part-time pig farmer!

Ed - we're with you on this one.....how DID this restaurant get so high on the list?!!!! Having never been to Greece before we really wanted to try good traditional dishes. But the fried hard cheese (turned out to be fried Feta cheese) was so salty it completely masked any flavour the cheese may have had. The stuffed tomatoes were ok - but didn't taste as fresh in comparison to the same dish at Klimatis. We can only assume Spiros has been better in previous years.

This was the only restaurant we tried in Lassi and we weren't very impressed. Although the service was good the restaurant lacked the relaxed atmosphere of Klimatis (Lourdas). The food was nothing special - although their Greek Salad was superb, and the Kefalonian Meat Pie was a huge letdown (very fatty).

This was our first holiday to Kefalonia & it definitely won't be our last! Although we originally wanted to stay in Scala, am very glad we chose Lourdas. It's quiter & less touristy, which is exactly the kind of holiday we wanted! Our apartment was lovely and Ari and his family very friendly and helpful. The pool is definitely one of the best we saw during our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
