I was expecting much more from this restaurant having seen it busy most nights and advertised in several magazines. Though I was very disappointed all round. The food was nothing special I ordered Spinach filled Ravoli and received 4 squares, my partner ordered lemon chicken but I suspect the Chicken never saw the lemon. What more the waiters never cracked a smile all night long they were more interested in chatting up two English girls behind us. All in all we
were greeted by grumpy waiters, small portions of dull food and none of the hype I was expecting. Much better available elsewhere!

We have just returned from two weeks staying at the Olive Grove Studios and Apartments. The accomodation is excellent value for money even better cos we got a deal on the holiday! OK the location is very quiet but that is what Svoronata is like. The rooms were very spacious and always kept clean by the staff. The facilities were good, there was a great pool and good pool bar and lots of space to catch the sun. Absolutely fantastic beach nearby called Avithos Beach.
Several restaurants aswell with the pick of the bunch being Dum Spiro's Spero but also Entetiko was good. Crazy Georges bar was good fun aswell. If you intend hiring a car it makes a good base to explore Argostoli, Lassi, Skala and the southern coast. A very enjoyable holiday indeed.

By far the best beach in the area (and possibly on Kefalonia) has to be Avithos Beach. The golden sand is very clean though sometimes hot at midday. The sea was warm, very clean and lovely to swim in. Facilities were great aswell sunbeds and umbrellas for hire but the best bit was the little beach bar which sold everything from cold drinks/beers, ice creams, snacks and sweets. It was the ideal beach to relax and enjoy the sun! The two restaurants were good aswell, great food and great views on a night time!
